[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the herbal essence, tea tree, shampoo, and conditioner from Influenster and exchange for my honest review. Overall, I enjoyed the fresh scent of both products. The fragrance isn’t overpowering, which I personally prefer. For my low porosity, coarse hair, the conditioner performed okay. For me, it didn’t provide enough hydration for my hair type. It also didn’t leave my hair any more shinny than other conditioners I’ve tried.

It smells fantastic and it’s thicker so it doesn’t slide off your hands and out of your hair. It has made our hair feel so much healthier, especially being outdoors all day playing in the sun and in the water. It detangles so well and I have very little breakage compared to when I first started using it!

This shampoo is a great alternative to the Paul Mitchell Green Tea Shampoo. With the prices of everything going up I could afford to keep using the Paul Mitchell brand, however i came across this one and have been using it for 2 years now. The price is great too, I usually purchase the bigger bottle with the pump.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love this scent! The tea tree is strong and powerful but not overbearing. It’s also just enough to give you that scalp tickling sensation without causing rash like itching. I feel like it deeply conditioned my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine, straight, thin, highlighted Asian hair, that is pretty dry at the ends due to the highlights and due to my hair texture, it usually can use some help in the volume department. I don’t wear a lot of product in my hair, typically I just shampoo and condition my hair every other day. However, not all the shampoos I use have strong surfactants, so I like using a clarifying shampoo 1-2x a week to remove and build up my conditioners might leave and just to feel extra clean. This clarifying shampoo fits the bill— it’s not frills, affordable, lathers well, and leaves my scalp and hair feeling squeaky clean. The only con I would say is I don’t love the scent— it’s kind of a masculine eucalyptus kind of smell, wish it was something nicer like the lovely floral or fruity scents that herbal essences does so well in their other products. Regardless, I’ll continue using this product— I wouldn’t use it daily as I feel it might be drying but will keep it in the rotation.

When your hair drys it leaves little to no knots, making it very easy to comb through! It leaves your hair shiny and clean with a light clean smell! The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it did make my scalp feel dirty. Works amazingly on the ends/middles just not on my scalp. When I used it on my scalp it was heavy and dirty looking. But when I only use it oj my middles/tips super clean and healthy looking. Very good for styling too, gives your hair a good bounce. I would possibly buy this going forward!

I think it would be an amazing conditioner when used with a different shampoo. It also smells clean and refreshing like the shampoo but not exactly the same. I probably will not purchase this in the future but it would probably be fine for those that don’t have dry hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Herbal Essences’ tea tree clarifying shampoo and purifying conditioner contain no parabens and are safe for my colored hairs. Using them together leaves my hair silky smooth after each wash. The tea tree scent smells quite artificial, which smells more like sweet mint than tea tree oil. The plastic packaging is durable and the cap is easy to open even with wet hands in the shower. For this set, I found the shampoo to be quite sticky after rinsing so the conditioner should be used in conjunction with the shampoo to help with the smoothness of my hair. Overall, the tea tree set is good, but I personally prefer their coconut hydration line.

It definitely brought back some moisture after the deep cleaning clarifying shampoo, but without weighing down my fine, straight hair. Some conditioners are too heavy and really make my hair look greasy and feel limp, but this added a nice volume. I currently have split ends and this smoothed them out nicely. The scent is amazing, it’s refreshing and bright which I personally love and it lasts in my hair all day.
