Its 50-pint capacity is effective for larger spaces, often rated for areas up to 4,500 sq ft, making it suitable for basements, garages, or open-plan living areas. A major plus is the Energy Star certification, meaning it operates efficiently and can help keep energy bills down. Many models include a built-in pump for continuous draining, a convenient feature that saves you from constantly emptying the bucket. If you prefer manual emptying, the slide-out water bucket has a decent capacity and an automatic shut-off to prevent overflows. It does remove moisture. But, the humidity monitor is all over the place. I set it to 55% and it takes it to 50% per it's monitor and shuts off. One minute later, it reads 58% and cycles back on. So, it basically runs all the time and my room is not too big. I keep a separate humidity monitor in the room and use it to adjust the dehumidifier setting, not the one on the unit.

The overall design of the unit is great, small form factor, front intake and top exhaust. It's quiet enough for a bedroom and adds minimal heat to the room. The only thing I do not like is the humidistat, it's accurate however the unit will turn on and off pretty often. It tries to maintain humidity within 1-2% which will obviously cause it to cycle a lot. It would be much better if the unit would maintain humidity within 5% so it isn't turning on and off so often.

After running for a bit it brought the humidity in my Master Bedroom down very fast and made the air quality feel better. Missouri summers are no joke and this is great to help an older house remove some extra humidity. Very Quiet as well for as much air it moves!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great dehumidifier unit. It's a smaller unit at only 25 pints, so it fills up within the day, but man does it work great! We placed it in the master bath, a spot that tends to get the most moisture and this little guy sucks it all out of the air! It is a little loud, but doesn't bother us. With the AC running all day, there is a lot of moisture in the air and this eliminates all of it! You can set it to different humidity levels and it will kick off once it detects the air is at that level. Having it right by the sink is very convenient as I am able to take out the tank, dump it out and put ir right back on the unit. Very happy with this product!

It fits perfectly in any room without taking up too much space and actually has a lot of power. I could tell a huge difference even after a few uses. The manual is easy to read and as you can see just 1 power bottom and one for the temperature. Its easy to port around my house and the noise level is just as a fan.

Although this design does not have an auto on/off option like the bigger models, the energy consumption is still acceptable. You can take this anywhere with you that has a standard plug in. The empty bin function is great so you can leave it and forget about it. You won’t have to worry about out it overfilling and causing water damage to the surface it’s resting on.
