A: No, the swivel wheels can not be removable. The four swivel wheels on the base help you move around any floor surface quickly.

This is a fantastic AC unit!
I am really impressed with this thing. It was on sale when I got it, or at least the website made it look like it was on sale. So I got it for about 250. Which isn't too bad considering the strength of the thing. It was extremely easy to get set up. I had to use my own hose for the continuous drip but I already had one I used for my last AC that started making terrible noises. So I got this one and it's been overperforming since I got it installed. I have it set at about 68 and it gets so cold in this 15x10 room that I can't feel my fingers. It's amazing. The previous device I had was about the same size, supposedly similar BTUs and it would leave the room hot still, just manageable. This one though, it makes it an ice box. And I love it. Anyways, if you're on the fence, just buy it! It's the best AC I've ever had and I've had at least 10 over the years.
