The dock is driven by DisplayLink and compatible with notebooks from HP, Apple®, Dell, Lenovo, and more. What's in the box? - HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2; Documentation Disclaimers - For USB-C™ functionality, host PC must support the DisplayPort™ Alt mode protocol through its USB-C™ port. Thunderbolt™-enabled notebooks will function at USB-C™ speeds. Charging and port replication is supported on notebooks that have implemented USB-C™ industry specifications. Power button to turn on or wake the system, Wake-on LAN from warm and cold dock, Wake-on LAN from S4/S5, and MAC Address Pass-Through S0, S3, S4, S5 warm and cold dock features only function on HP or HP-supported notebooks. HP does not provide Ethernet and audio drivers on Mac PCs. - Based on HP internal testing on select non-HP notebook models compatible with USB-C™ industry standards. Certain Alt mode features are not supported, such as power button, MAC Address Pass-Through, Wake-on LAN, and OOB Wake on LAN. Great product!
I has been looking ariund for something that would allow me to use dual monitors with display port, even though my laptop had hdmi. Happened to be at work and noticed this product, New it worked well at work, so ordered one for home. Works great, and even came with a USBC adapter. Awesome!

Perfect multi port solution for home office.
I needed to upgrade my old USB Hub solution as my new monitor wasn't working in the old one. This one has so many plug in options for all necessary products, lap top, monitor, internet direct wire, mouse, keyboard etc. Great price too.

Cumbersome, but it works.
The docking unit extends the functionality of my ZBook Studio G9 laptop. The downside is that it impedes mobility by making things somewhat cumbersome...heavy and bulky and requires an additional power supply.

The Best in Multi-Monitor Setup
This has revolutionised my workspace. I plug my laptop into this so it draws power, and then I really only use the laptop as a writing tool. My two monitors plug into this seamlessly. There's also room for USB devices to plug in

Not happy
Display port does not work with my monitor, unable to to update drivers - as it a work laptop and is locked down. The Hdmi works, but l am limited to one monitor and was hoping for two. Will have to see if new laptop will work better. Bought docking port as it is the only approved hardware that I could use with new laptop which I am waiting for :(

one intermittant issue
good docking station with one problem. It powers my laptop so I keep the power cord in my bag for travel, but every once in a while it loses my web cam and have to reboot to see it.
