This is my German Shepherd’s favorite toy. It is easy for her to fetch when we play.

My dog immediately started to pull chunks out of this thing and i had to take it away. I didnt want him to try and swallow any of it!

every toy we've ever given out Springer has ended up shredded. Not this one! Its lasted for years. Now I'm looking to purchase other toys from this brand.

She destroyed it in 10 minutes

Our dog chewed this toy to bits in less then 10 minutes. A week later, he had to have emergency GI surgery to have an obstruction removed. Lime green particles from this toy were the culprit! A toy for $7.99 turned into a $10k surgery!

Total piece of junk & a choking hazard! Our pup had it destroyed within 10min

Our 6 month old puppy chewed chink off in 10-15 minutes so we had to quickly take it away. Liked that it was shaped like a stick. LOL, she loved carrying it around for that short time.

Ditto everything grammy said in another review. My Great Dane and pit are huge fans of the stick and the round ball. The stick is a great size for their mouths. The hyper chews line is amazing. These have been the best chew toys for the pit!

Not for tough chewers

Dog had it completely ripped up in no time at all...

I never write reviews, but I was looking to replace the one we've had for our dog for over 6 months (closer to 8) and I noticed all the poor reviews for this toy. Definitely not the case for us. I dont think we bought ours at target but it's the same brand. Got this for our dog while she was teething and (just like another reviewer said) she now easily chews through the marrow bones we give her. But not this toy. She does put indents/teeth marks in it but has never been able to bite a piece off. Even her "cousin" (a Jack Russell, "The Destroyer) came over and couldn't destroy this toy - again only teeth marks. It's only until now (after 8 mo or so) that I've noticed a tiny piece on the end that's on its way off (pic included...also featuring all the teeth marks). And with all the teeth marks, I figure it's time for a replacement. I prefer this toy over some of the other harder "power chew" toys because of that slight give it has allowing my dog to chew without seeming to give her as much trouble as the others. This toy also has some bounce to it because of the material which makes fetch with it a lot more fun for her. Great toy all around. Gave it 4 stars honestly just because I don't know enough about EVA foam but wish the toy packaging provided more info (like safety info) on it besides just durability.

had it 2 days and dog was able to chew pieces off. Not for powerful chewers

yeah I understand its a throw toy, but I guess I should have read more into it. my dogs chewed this up within an hour

My dog chews through bones whether they're intended to be eaten or not. I bought this stick and another one that looks like wood. I really didn't think that hard foam stood a chance, but I was wrong! The other fake stick has pieces shaved off by her teeth, but the hyper chewz stick has nothing but the indentations of her teeth on it.
