IAMS Proactive Health Urinary Tract Chicken Flavor Dry Cat Food

It has kept my cat from getting any more crystals for years.....but, I am now worried because I just opened a new bag of the dry and the pieces have really shrunk. Hope it is still as good as it has been the past 8 years.

The only affordable option for cats with urinary tract issues. I used to buy the expensive brands until I found this one and my cat seems puuurfectly healthy, no more urinary issues. It also helps to avoid wet food containing fish.

First time trying Iams Urinary Health cat foodn so cannot speak to the results. I can, however, say that they're eating it well with no digestive issues or refusal from them & that's half the battle when it comes to cats! I appreciate that there are no colors in it and compared to other urinary tract health dry cat food the Iams is priced fairly.

This IAMS PROACTIVE HEALTH Urinary Tract Health with Chicken is a winner! My cat loves the flavor, and I love the peace of mind knowing I'm supporting their urinary health. The pieces are a perfect size, and it seems to keep them energized and happy. Great blend of flavor and function!

My cat has urinary issues and was previously on the vet-prescribed foods. However, those are now $120+ and are no longer affordable. I switched to this food as an alternative the past few years and my little guy is doing well — no crystals. I would just make sure to keep with urinalysis at the vet to ensure your cat is doing well. Pairing with a cat water fountain (stainless steel to avoid chin acne) should help encourage regular drinking as well.

I usually order this from Amazon but shipping problems have me waiting for a month! Target got this to me in three days!

My guy loves the food he eats it right up!

switched to this after my male cat had a minor urinary issue just to be safe. He only has small amounts for snacking but he seems to enjoy it as much as his old kind.

I won’t be feeding this to any of my cats anymore. I just found mold in the bag of Iams. The 16# bag had only been opened a couple of weeks ago. I discovered the mold when there was about 1/3 of the food left and it was very prominent, not just a small amount. I will now be trying a different brand. I have heard of people finding mold in the bags previously, going back years. I would think by now the company would have solved this issue. I already have one cat with kidney disease that gets prescription dry and canned food. I was feeding the Iams as a preventative for my other cats. Just wanted to also add that this food is not a substitute for prescription food. You are not helping your cat if you’re doing this. You may think you’re saving money, but you’ll only be risking your cat’s life and spending more money at the vet instead. My cat that has kidney disease only gets the prescription food, both dry and canned food, and not the Iams or other non-prescription food.

My cat has never had a uti but i bought this because i know that he’s getting up there in age (11) and that it’s a possible problem for older cats. however, within a few weeks of giving this to him, he got his first uti. i’ve had him for nearly 12 years now and never had a problem, so i do blame this cat food. (at least it should’ve helped prevent this!) he loved the taste of it though, he went crazy for it. just be careful with your babies please!

Good price my cat loves it

Have tried MANY different brands, even prescription, only one that doesn't make my cat sick & no urinary issues since using for the past year. It's ingredients are decent (compared to others), & my cat LOVES (he's extremely picky). Yes it has high carbs, but I'll take the exchange for the fake meat & extremely toxic ingredients that the others have. Research it, you'll see what I mean...

My cats love ❤️ this dry cat food. They can't get enough of this food. The value is great, easy to find in stores, and the effectiveness of this is great.

Our cat really enjoys eating this food, always asking for more. With a cat prone to urinary tract infections, this really helps keep her healthy

My cat starved him self when I tried to feed him pedigree urinary tract food. Iams is all my cat will eat!

I was not happy about how long it took to be delivered , it took 3 days , it was suppose to be here Saturday and I didn't get it until Monday , I could have gone to Pets Mart and bought it .
