Q: Is the warm setting actually warm? I have an implant inside my side and have to be careful as too HOT of heat directly on it can damage it. 99% of the time I don't use a hair dryer.

Worked well until it didn't. I don't blow dry my hair very frequently, and this hair dryer didn't last past a year and a half. I still have a hair dryer from 30 years ago that still functions,but it never had enough power. I feel like there is so much garbage being made. Nothing is quality.

I have 2c/3a curls, and use the diffuser exclusively. I’ve actually had this dryer for a long time, and it’s great if you’re blowing your hair out. Still, with a diffuser, it is way too powerful. The lowest setting still blows a strong stream of air through the diffuser, and it takes a a lot of work to prevent your curls from getting straightened. 2 stars if you’re curly, but as a general blow dryer, 4 stars.

I would rate them zero stars if possible. Item was clearly returned. Dryer was thrown in box with a tangled cord, no product pamphlet. Shame on Target for shipping such a product. Next time, I will be ordering from Amazon.

I bought this model twice at Ulta and loved it. Bought this one twice today at Target and neither will blow hot air. So I will return it again tomorrow and go to Ulta. I think that one is specifically sold there.

This dryer stopped blowing warm or hot air after only about a dozen uses. Too late to return because I received it as a gift several months ago and delayed using it till September 2024. Bummer.

This is my second time purchasing this model because I love it so much! It is powerful for a quick dry, and has the multiple settings for everything else. The first one lasted me close to 10 years, and was still working, but starting to smell hot when in use, so I bought this one before I was stuck with wet hair for work!

Diffuser is good size with longer spikes. I have an Afro 4C hair and I used it to dry my wash & go. After allowing it to air dry for a several hours, I diffused before I went to bed. Definitely helped add more volume & keep my curls more defined as I slept
