I returned the Conair Double Ceramic Hair Dryer-1875W because it was not strong enough for thick hair, and bought this Conair Infiniti Pro. If you want something strong & compact, and at a good price, this one is it. It blows pretty hard, which helps my thick-short hair dry quick. I was worried about the buttons location, but I’m actually quite happy about their place because my fingers don’t accidentally press anything as I’m drying. I’m pretty happy with it so far. I got it price matched for a discounted price, too.

I had been using the same hair dryer for a decade and upgraded to this one in November. Since then my very fine hair has gotten sooo much healthier. I realized that the only difference is changing to this hair dryer. Ionic dryers are much better in your hair and this dries mine in half the time so it’s half the amount of heat damage. I highly recommend this product! I’ve shared with all my friends too.

Like some other reviewers had mentioned, this hair dryer does not get my hair dry. I suspect it is because it does not get hot enough. The heat from it when it’s at “hot” level feels more like “warm” on the other dryers I have previously owned. Maybe I got a defective one? Otherwise the build seems solid.

Really disappointed after reading all the reviews. I guess that’s what you get from all these paid reviews. This made my thick wavy hair tangled and frizzy. The high setting was too much and just blew my hair all over versus drying. Spend more for a quality blow dryer.
