I wouldn't consider this a carpet vacuum. and I'm a bit disappointed. it's more a hard surface duster for tile or hard floors. it has very powerful suction and it CAN vacuum carpet,but it's probably better for area rugs and stairs and hard floors

Cheap Product, Not Worth What I Paid

This vacuum was originally around $100, but it was on sale for $49.99 at the time I was browsing Target.com for vacuum options. This item was sold by a company outside of Target, but was available for purchase through the Target app. I chose this particular vacuum because it was lightweight and compact. It also came apart so you could use the handheld portion for easy use on stairs or curtains, etc. From what I read about it in the app’s description, and the customer reviews that were provided, it seemed like a good choice. IT WAS NOT. The box that arrived was smaller than what I had anticipated, and it really was lightweight, possibly due to the cheap plastic it was made out of. It works, but it is NOT worth what I paid for it, and its original price is twice what I paid! This vacuum is NOT worth $100, and it is NOT worth $49.99. I don’t think it’s worth more than $20 to be honest. It’s fine if I lived in a dorm room, or used it as a backup, or in a classroom. It is not a good choice for the main household vacuum, especially for heavy duty vacuuming multiple times a day with or without kids.

It's not a good vacumm

Poor quality , plastic , falls apart while putting it together . The box arrived in a tiny used box . Took the vacuum out, and it was like looking at a toy vacumm . The pieces are very cheaply made, so putting the thing together was aggravating. The peices were so plsstic and cheaply made they were breaking while putting it together. I finally got it put together and gave a shot and vacumm my area rug . Does not push well on carpet : even the lowest carpet. Suction is good, but the handle wouldn't stay on even to vacumm. Waste of $50. Waste of time . Shop forba better vacumm cleaner because this isn't it.

It does a good job of sucking up dust/hair. BUT the exterior is a crazy magnet for it too. MUST clean out filter FREQUENTLY. May be better used as a handheld only.
