Instant Pot 6qt Vortex Plus ClearCook Black

The fan stopped after maybe using it 7 times. Only had it 9 days!! Wasn't even sure it wasn't working, it just wasn't making noise and there was a plastic odor. Going back today I will try another if they have one. Very disappointed.

Very quiet appliance, cooks and crips food nicely

Was just going through the reviews on this official website, and I am quite surprised by the negative reviews here. In India this product is the best.. superb quality, I have been using it for three years and absolutely satisfied.. have recommended this to few others and they too are extremely satisfied.. I brought it on Amazon India website

It was a great air fryer until about one year. First, the door cracked, then the silicone rubber on the tray broke, then the time numbers only partially display and now the "close door" message displays even though the door is closed! Garbage!

We have purchased the Vortex Plus 6QT 4 times now,.... It would be a great Air Fryer -- IF IT LASTED.,...!!! -- At about 3 months the little tabs that trigger the 'CLOSE BASKET' switch wear out,.....So it will no longer allow you to cook anything,.....And at about 6 to 12 months something wears out on the Fan Motor so that it either rattles so much it slows and does not circulate the air or it stops rotating completely.We wish this product was made with quality parts and lasted,... however it is not even worth trying to send back for warranty repair,.... because it is stated that we must pay for the shipping both ways. So now we have 4 more thing to try to figure out how to dispose of,...... Yikes,.....!

The smell it emits makes me feel sick. I thought it would go away with use but it still smells bad every time I use it. Otherwise it cooks very well but I have use it outdoors.

Just bought this appliance a week ago Absolutely love it, just wish it came with a recipe book

They work but not for long. After about 4 months the light stopped working. After 6 months the silicon feet of the tray started coming loose and then the plugs that hold it in are breaking off so the feet won't stay on.Not enough attention to quality in the product and they certainly didn't test the thing properly.Better quality parts would make a big difference and I would have been happy with this. After less than 6 months needing to replace parts apart from the filter is not acceptable

I Love my Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6 QT Airfryer, I've had mine since February 2022. I use my Airfryer practically everyday. I live alone but I wouldn't buy a smaller Airfryer, this is the perfect size for me, I can cook a Steak on it frozen or unfrozen, I have a Grill Grate that I heat up for 10 minutes before throwing my steak on it and it cooks up with beautiful grill marks on it. (Can be found on grillgrate.com) they make sizes to fit Airfryer 's.I cook fish, vegetables, donuts, all in my Airfryer but I must say heating up leftover Pizza tastes better then when you got it from Pizza Hut or Domino's originally, makes you want to get the pizza one day and save it for the next day just to reheat it because it just taste so much better reheating it in the airfryer. Even if your single buy this 6 quart size because you'll end up using it more then you think. I bought my Airfryer because I'm disabled and can no longer use my oven to cook on and this is just the perfect size Airfryer for me.

Versatility of this product has been amazing. We have mostly used the air fryer option, but love the reheating function for everything from left over pizza to a second night of homemade manicotti.

I purchased this product a little over 2 years ago, and it was working very well until suddenly it started displaying a 'close the basket' message, even though the basket was already closed. I haven't been able to use it since. I called customer service, and they informed me that they cannot do anything because the one-year warranty has expired. The air fryer looks brand new, with no damage or dents; it just started showing this message, and now I can't use it. Therefore, I am giving it a rating of 2.

This is my fourth air-fryer and by far my favorite. I LOVE the size of the basket compared to my last one and the square shape is much more practical. The basket is solid with a tray inside. Previous fryers had venting along the bottom which made it messy. Very easy to use.

This is my new favorite appliance. Easy to use, easy to clean. If I want to flip the food, the alarm goes off to remind me to do it after half the cooking time is reached. Only drawback is that this appliance does take up counter space and I have to be mindful of the air exhaust that comes out from the back.

We've owned 4 air fryers including one that was more than twice the cost of the instant vortex + and this is the best one by far. Cooks great and so easy to clean up afterward. Solid, high quality build and I love the window and light inside that lets you cook progress without open it up,

Bought a few weeks ago. I live alone but bought the 6 quart anyway. This machine is tremendous. I love battered fish and unfortunately you can only get Gorton's style fish from freezer section. I love Gorton's because it's whole fish not fish pieces. They fry perfectly. I reheat everything in it with out anything being soggy.

I'm an experienced cook, but new to air fryers. This is a great little machine. After the initial burn-in there isn't any chemical smell. I wish I could turn up the sound a bit louder. If I step out of the kitchen I can't hear the turn or end beeps

I bought the Instant Vortex Plus because I love my Instant Pot pressure cooker. I've had my air fryer for 3 days and have cooked French fries, kielbasa and chicken and they were cooked perfectly. My husband who has a strong sense of smell even commented how there was none. I look forward to all the meals I'll be cooking with less fat!

Excellent!! I love it. There is only 1 thing - my temp designation went from centigrade to farinheit by itself. Any body know how to change it back?

Smell no different from most new appliances that get hot, and not that obvious. Works well and cooks brilliantly. No complaints except that I have broken handle of pan by dropping it. Have waited nearly 6 months in UK for replacement part to become available. Always says it is arriving soon. Also not available from anywhere else. Very frustrating. Also the handle is not sold separately - why not?
