Instant Vortex 9-quart Air Fryer with VersaZone Technology

Didn't last more than a year

I received this 16 months ago, brand new. Product will not turn on reads "close basket" there is zero damage to the product. Customer service told me to "purchase a new one" I asked how I could fix the sensor and refused to give me any information.

I was gifted this for Christmas 2022 and it worked perfectly for 2 years and then all of a sudden it stopped. There is no way to look at the sensor without completely disassembling the machine- which then doesn't reassemble. If you are planning on using for 2 years this is great but if you want to use it for longer don't plan on using this one

This worked wonderfully until it didn't. Purchased as a Christmas present in 2022. There is a close basket error and it will not cook anymore. Was in the middle of a air fry cycle and the close basket error appeared and unit shut down. Super disappointed!

My second instapot air fryer …I Wanted a bigger one so I bought the 9 quart… I'm so happy I did that. Love it just as much as my 5 quart

I've read that there is a fix for it but that requires time and taking apart the unit to reconnect the wires causing permanent damage to other parts of the unit.

Awesome when it worked. Unfortunately the "Close Basket" light illuminated and the into does not work. I called customer service, which was surprisingly easy. Was informed that as the unit was more than one year post the purchase date they could not replace or repair the unit. They were also unable to sell or provide me a replacement switch/sensor. In other words - if you buy. Suit it's good for one year. After that you're on your own. No support. Taking my hard earned money elsewhere.

I bought this 1 year ago but started giving me trouble before that. The close basket sensors went out and now it will not start cooking anything

Purchased at the end of 2022. Today we got an error to close basket. There's nothing preventing the basket to not close. Our air fryer no longer works. I was shocked to see recently others have had the same issue. Do not purchase if you are looking for a long time dependable air fryer

Really loved this air fryer until it stopped working after about a year and a half. The size and split drawer option was great. It still powers up but is stuck in 'Close Basket' mode even though the basket is closed. I can't get it past that to cook. Apparently there is no fix for this and it is no longer under warranty since that only covers 1 year. Customer Service recommended purchasing a replacement, but I will not be purchasing an Instant brand air fryer again due to the limited warranty and an expensive product that does not last longer than this.

It won't recognize that the basket is closed and therefore won't work. I have had this less than 7 months and the display only show close basket, everything I have read states this happens a lot. I don't have the receipt.

Very large and heavy but works great. Would recommend if you plan to use on a regular basis. This is the first air frier I own and I have been very impressed with the capabilities it has and how easy it is to use.

This Air Fryer is everything it says it is...Cooks wonderfully. We have used this everyday since we received it. The cleanup is so easy to do.Fits perfectly on the kitchen counter. Tons of recipes also. I would tell anyone to TRY IT.

After a few uses I am pleasantly surprised. Food came out Perfectly cooked. I really like the dual basket to make two different foods at the same time. The windows are nice to see the food before the time is done. Overall highly satisfied.

I was in need of a new air fryer as our old one was gross and small. I love how many options this air fryer has. The basket is large enough to make enough food in one layer. The nonstick basket and inserts make cleaning a breeze. The basket is also dishwasher safe so that's a bonus!

I really enjoyed using this device and found it to be very intuitive to use, pretty much plug and play. I've made one of the recipes included (sweet chili chicken wings), which was easy for a beginner/intermediate cook like myself, and it came out perfectly cooked, seasoned and flavored. Cleanup was simple as most of the device pieces are dishwasher safe. It's an attractive unit and doesn't take up too much counter space. I look forward to trying more and continuing to enjoy this air fryer!

I received my new Instant Vortex9 quart Air Fryer w/Versazone Technology a few days ago. You can use it to cook large portions or 2 different smaller portions as it has a divider for the fryer basket and has 6 different programs for cooking and separate controls for each side. It makes cooking a whole healthy meal a snap.

The instant vortex 9 Court air fryer with versa zone is one of the newest models of air fryers with a multifunction. I have read before receiving mine that it is one of the top 12. I wish to note that it is such a newer model that the reviews are high rating yet still two new to assume or know any real cons with the product. So far I can state that I love the versatility multifunctional of this air fryer. Control panel is simple and easy and electronic. Comes as an air fryer, roast, baked, reheat, broil and one of my favorite dehydrates. The basket comes with a one basket setting, a two basket setting, and a hole basket setting when you do not use the air fryer tray divider. Honestly the heating elements is what takes most of the space. You have the option to be left zone and right zone on the smart programs with the temperature control. There is also a sinc finish and a sinc cook. Directions easily provide explanations of everything. It's almost classified as a smart air fryer. Once you get past the easy initials one must become accustomed to the cooking and zones in order for easy finished products comes with a two recipe receipt pamphlet a cautionary safeguard warranty pamphlet. Kind of on the hefty side and wait however is in between as a space saver. Doesn't take too much space but still requires ample enough space to use properly. Functionality is specifically based on the space provided around ventilation. Also if you wish for the motor to run at proper function I would definitely recommend using the instructions on the space needed. I have had my fair share of air fryers and the one common factor is the space that is needed or proper ventilation. I cannot stress this enough. Also proper cleaning after every use is also recommended. Any air fryer I have come across remains functioning properly until the gook build up is too much. So the main aspect of the instant vortex 9 Court air fryer with versus zone is an awesome use multiple cooking and big cooking with a variety of styles, however, you must make sure it is ventilating properly with instructed space and cleaned properly or continual proper use. Unfortunately, this air fryer seems to be the same as most with those two important components. If you do not keep up on maintenance I give it about a year like most of my air fryer products. Putting that aside I am in love with the extra large space of cooking and the multiple usage of the air fryer. Easy to clean, Teflon smooth.
