    Clasp broke and files keep slipping off rails. Do not buy.

    There are huge empty spaces in front of and behind rails, so hanging files are constantly falling down with nothing to hold them in place. Additionally, the clasp broke almost immediately. Do not buy.

    Clear version has handle components that will degrade

    Not in the product description, but the handle in the clear version is not hard plastic. It's that soft TPE texture that will degrade if handled enough, particularly in the tropical climate where I live. I would not recommend the clear one and it's a shame they didnt include it in the product description, or else I would have chose the black one. The black one appears to not have the material on the handle that degrades, based on the pictures. Also these are way overpriced for what they are. I have similar Sterilite file containers from 10+ years ago that are still going strong through multiple moves with high heat and humidity climates.

    Convenient and sturdy

    These are so much better than the type with either the handle on the lid or those that have supply storage built into the lid. That are more sleek and convenient in design, allowing to stack or slide nicely into a nook beside each other. While it could do with some slight improvements to hinges (some are better than others and seem more of a quality control issue), these are far more sturdy than any I have tried. I highly recommend. If you’re used to the supply case the lid, I would suggest a slim pencil case slipped in with the files as this box travels far better than that type.

I like that it’s clear in color and it allows me to see the contents. It is the size to hold hanging files too. It has a nice handle on top that folds down into the top to allow you to stack more boxes if desired.

    Waterproof

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a file box for important papers so I found this box which was exactly the size I needed and I couldn't beat the price so without inspecting it, I bought it. 2 weeks after having it on a shelf in a closet, a water pipe burst and flooded that closet. Little did I know the file box is waterproof. It said it right on the sticker on the box, I just never noticed. Nothing in that box got a single drop off water, whilst most things in the closet were ruined. I'm SO glad I bought this file box.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The file box is plastic, and about the thickness of your standard tote. The lid flips open and closed and has a plastic snap lock to keep the lid closed. I did Drop the box twice to see durability and it held up with no cracks or breakage. It fits the standard size file folders if you want to put your stuff in file folders (not included) I have been able to hold a lot of documents and even a couple photos that I don’t want anything to happen too, and it still has plenty of space for me to add even more important documents. It is lightweight and easy to hold, while being empty and it will just depend on how much you add to it how heavy it would be, for me I am able to easily pull it out of my closet anytime I need to get something out of it or add something new to it. I do recommend this box if you are looking for a lightweight, durable, standard plastic file box.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box no doubt is really weather tight and definately keeps the contents safe ,dry and clean for years and years.Descriprion says for letter hanging files.I needed something safe for my documents and I was wrong with the size so probably would order another from same brand and keep this one for the size of files mentioned on it.I loved the top handle so we can just carry it anywhere and drive along safely also while shifting.Every house hold needs to have one for important documents.

    Nice but doesn't fit legal size

    The box is nice but although it is called "Legal File Box" the size is letter, not legal.
