Great sound! Powerful bass!
Recently purchased the fine piece of equipment and I was really impressed by sound quality and strong bass. It has the same effect indoors and outdoors and has already animated quite a few parties.

Amazing Sound
I purchased this as I already have a JBL Flip 7 and wanted a bigger speaker to use in the garden. The sound quality it produces is very good. Deep bass as well as clear vocals. Battery life from 1 single charge is impressive. It link seamlessly with the Flip 7, allowing music to be in 2 places at once playing from the same Bluetooth device.

Just a great music player
So i needed something to play music in the garden that actually sounded good. This is larger than alot of portable speakers but my god is it worth it, sound and bass are superb. Ive charged it once and it has lasted ages so far! I fully reccomend it to anyone who wants great music.

punchy sound, easy to set up and transport
Wow, if you are looking for a speaker that can cover you for any size party then this is for you. Just don't stand near it when you put it on full volume. Not heavy enough that I couldn't lift it over my head so it's very portable too. Extremely easy to set up and get started whilst outlasting any party. I took it away for a whole week without needing to charge it and I was using it every day. I appreciate it's not the cheapest model out there but at least with this you wouldn't need to be buying anything else for a very long time so you've got to factor in that it is a long term investment.

Amazing speaker!
The JBL Boombox 4 is by far the most impressive portable speaker I have encountered. It has a really long battery life, it's got really powerful and deep bass and the volume is impressive, not just for how loud it gets, but also because of how the sound quality is retained at higher volumes. The downsides are - yeah it's portable and has a handle, but you wouldn't want to take it up a mountain. This is very much a more compact party speaker more than a truly portable bluetooth speaker. It's also very expensive, but if seriously loud and bassy sound is your thing - I think this is as good as it gets from the world of portable speakers.

Super speaker
The JBL boombox speakers are highly recommended. The bass is adjustable, with three depth settings, and is powerful for the speaker's size. After installing the JBL app and adjusting the equalizer, the sound is clear and the bass depth is incredible. The sound quality is simply phenomenal. Vocals are crystal clear, and the volume is so high that it can easily fill a large space. It charges quickly and lasts a very long time.

Impressive sound
My wife loves karaoke nights at home and we wanted something powerful enough to fill the house and garden without sounding tinny. When we turned it on for the first time it genuinely impressed me. The sound is huge with deep bass - the closer you get to the boombox, the more you actually feel the bass. Some songs honestly gave me goosebumps. The good thing is the vocals still come through clearly which makes karaoke tracks sound brilliant. I also like how much more control the app gives you with the EQ settings compared to older JBL speakers. The battery life has been excellent so far and the lighter design makes it easier to carry into the garden while the kids play - this is great because we like to entertain in different areas of the garden. I would say at very high volume it can almost be too powerful for smaller rooms, but that really just shows how much output this thing has. For those who genuinely love their music and appreciate good sound, this feels worth the money.

jbl boom box 4
I'm quite pleased with the JBL Boombox 3 that I recently purchased. The sound is clean, strong, and has a deep bass that effortlessly fills the space. Even at maximum volume, the audio is clear whether I'm using it outside or indoors. The battery lasts for hours, making it ideal for travel or social gatherings. Additionally, I appreciate that it is waterproof and well-built, so I don't have to worry about using it outside. Pairing with my phone is made simple by the fast and reliable Bluetooth connection. All things considered, the JBL Boombox 3 is a high-end speaker with outstanding performance, robust durability, and a long battery life. Strongly advised for those searching for high-quality, powerful portable sound.

Great package and wonderful sound
Bought for the summer months and for taking out and about. Easy to carry with the handle. Delivers exceptional bass with the option of punchy or deep versions. Good EQ control through the app and easy to connect to bluetooth. Fairly large but manageable for travel short distances and has a good weight to it.

Every Party Needs this
Honestly, this speaker is the main character at our hangouts now. We had it set up near the fire pit last weekend, and the sound is just massive. It’s not just loud, it’s deep, heavy bass you can actually feel in your chest even when you're sitting back in a camping chair. What I love is that we didn't have to baby it. It was sitting in the grass, got a little bit of ash on it from the fire, and it didn't matter. It feels super rugged. We had music playing from the afternoon BBQ all the way until the fire died out late at night, and the volume never dipped. If you like deep bass and hanging out outside with the crew, this thing hits different. It just keeps the energy up all night without any stress.

Almost perfect
After using a lot of JBL products, from in ear wireless buds to the PartyBox 110, I felt like the Boombox 4 would be the perfect blend of deep bass and crisp sound… it wasn’t far off, and out the box it produced a great range of sound across different genres. The only gripe I had with the Boombox 4 was when the bass would overpower the rest of a song (not a problem if you’re using this for a party setting). After some brief research, I downloaded the JBL Portable app and it made a big difference being able to adjust the EQ and fine tune what I wanted to hear. After the mild tinkering, I found the speaker to be superior to a lot of speakers that are a similar size. Having USB C input for lossless audio, being able to link it with the PartyBox 110 (and other JBL speakers) creating an amazing surround sound experience, and having the ease of carrying it around, this is almost the perfect speaker for everyone.

What a beast!!!
The JBL Boombox 4 honestly slaps. The sound is just straight up awesome, you turn it on and suddenly your room feels like it’s hosting a mini festival. The bass hits hard, the highs are clean, everything just feels big and crisp. And those LEDs on the sides? Way cooler than I expected. They give the whole thing a nice little vibe boost, like it’s trying to party with you. Battery life is crazy good too. It just keeps going and going, like it refuses to quit. Definitely one of those “charge it once, forget about it” kinda speakers. Plus, being able to pair it with other JBL speakers is super clutch. It’s so satisfying linking everything together and filling the whole space with sound. Only downside? The price. It’s kinda up there, and honestly you can get the JBL PartyBox 120 for way less and it comes with more features. So yeah, your wallet will definitely feel this one. But overall? Great sound, great lights, great battery life — just kinda pricey.

Incredible Quality, Huge speaker.
This speaker is absolutely massive! I hadn't checked just how big it is so it's pretty overkill for my kitchen but WOW, Does it ever shine at my busy and noisy workplace. We often struggle here both with speakers that are loud enough but just distort or that aren't waterproof however, the Boombox 4 ticks all of those boxes! The quality of sound at both really low volumes and extremely loud is just fantastic. Being able to live adjust to EQ and balance is a great feature of all JBL products but it seriously shines here. I'd have to say it would be perfect if you ran any sort of social club and wanted either background music or music loud enough to dance to! It did a brilliant job at my nephews birthday in a village hall for example. Or even if you did some small outdoor events, I could see this being ideal. Again, a bit overkill if you're just looking for a home speaker unless you want to rattle the windows. Highly recommend.

perfect
The JBL Boombox 4 is a beast of a portable speaker, It's got that signature JBL sound with deep bass and clear highs, perfect for outdoor parties or just chilling at home. The battery life is solid, so you can keep the music going for ages. Plus, it's rugged and water-resistant, so you don't have to worry about splashes. It's definitely a premium option, but if you want top-notch sound and durability, it's worth the investment.
