JBL Flip 7 Portable Speaker

Bought flip 7 about 1 month ago. It has really good sound and the battery life is amazing

Sounds good but mid and high frequency is like it seem to be trembling and twitching and interrupting

Sound quality is excellent Very easy to set up, battery lasts ages

Didn't think they could do better than the Flip 5 but the Flip 7 doesn't disappoint!!! Whether on the patio or on the golf cart, this speaker makes it's presence known!! Thoroughly impressed with this purchase!

I returned it. It turned out to not be compatable w/ another JBL flip I have. Since I couldn’t pair them I had no need for it. Also,I didn’t think the sound was as good as the older one.

I bought this speaker a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! Sounds great and loud, very happy with my purchase.

With an increased weight to this unit it packs a sound punch that is noticeable different than other previous models. Noticeably sturdy out of the box, so was eager to connect and see what degree of volume and audio quality this thing pushed out. WOW!!! Let me tell you, after 30+ years of being a music junkie and cycling through more portable speakers than I care to admit, the JBL Flip 7 is seriously impressive. Maybe, perfect? First off, the volume on this little beast is ridiculous. I had it cranked in my bathroom while showering, and I could enjoy the volume - the highs - the mids - the lows - over the water and fan. Super CRISP at the highest volumes - bathroom, garage, kitchen, backyard, etc. Did NOT expect such quality and projection from something this size. The bass response floored me. I've always been skeptical about portable speakers actually delivering low-end that you can feel, but the Flip 7 proves me wrong. Put on some proper 90s hip-hop or Led Zep and you get that chest-thumping thump I usually only expect from larger systems. Those passive radiators on the ends aren't just for show!! Sound clarity across the spectrum is where this thing really shines. The separation between instruments is crystal clear - you can pick out individual guitar parts, vocal layers, and percussion elements that get muddied on lesser speakers. Battery life is solid too - took it camping last weekend and got through an entire day and evening of music without needing a recharge. I own a handful of JBL products, but the sound quality makes you think that you are listening to a much larger speaker. This single speaker fills my large backyard with the great sound quality, that I have come to expect. Even though we have not had summer weather, I took it to the beach, and it sounded great. I love the interchangeable clip and finger strap. I hope that they come out with a wrist strap, or a bicycle attachment, hint, hint. The Flip 7 is definitely my new favorite Bluetooth.

The music has a clear sound with crisp mids and detailed vocals and more bass than I've seen with previous versions. I like the added EQ so I can adjust my music to different genres of music that I like. Overall this is my go to audio source for listening in my home and outdoor adventures.

Boy,technology sure has advanced in these few years,,, This speaker is amazing! You can hear each individual instrument,separately! We take this speaker when we go camping. In the tent we have a tablet playing a movie and the audio goes to the portable speaker.. That lets us put the speaker closer to our heads and not have to blast the volume(turn on PlaytimeBoost which reduces the super low rumble and lets the voices come in clearer, also allows extended battery playtime) It would be great for vanlife camping as it is completely portable and rechargeable. I have a newer JBL Extreme 4 speaker (just kind of a larger,louder version of the Flip7). It has the Auracast feature which allows multiple speakers to play the same song... I enabled it and WOWOWOW,it was like magic! I could not tell where the sound was coming from. The Small speaker was sitting right here,and the larger Extreme was over by the couch, when I started playing the song to both speakers,you couldn't tell where either speaker was! It was like the sound was coming from somewhere between the two. Just very cool. The speaker can be controlled with JBL Portable App but you don't have to have it running to play audio. It has a small equalizer and some other features you can enable in it. I haven't been able to get the Auracast speakers (the new ones) to talk to the older Flip 4 with JBL Connect which is a bummer,as you know the more speakers the better! I thought the Flip 7 would be very similar sounding to my old Flip 4 but I was mistaken, the audio is much more “separated” and clearer sounding. The build quality is still high quality,seems to have a smoother softer feel. No speakerphone feature on this one,but I never used it on my old one so it didn't matter to me. Most televisions these days have bluetooth which you can easily pair with this speaker. Keep the speaker near you while watching tv so you don't have to blast the volume and keep the whole house up at night! I would recommend the Flip 7 to anyone looking for a high quality,waterproof,,small portable speaker or if you're looking to upgrade an older speaker to the newer technology.

It’s the perfect size that fits in a cup holder, or any pouch designed for a water bottle, and comes with a D-ring so you can attach it to anything. It’s even waterproof. Most importantly, the battery lasts a really long time and I can go several days between charging with daily use. So it’s great for activities on the go and events and adventures outdoors. It sounds great with a wide and full sounding range, and is very loud for it’s size. I’m easily able to turn it up TOO loud for most settings. The bass is amazingly impressive with these side woofer drivers or diaphragms.. whatever they’re called, they create real, physical bass that you would normally only experience from larger speakers. The Flip7 is so easy and convenient to use, I find that I end up bringing it everywhere. Even in the shower, ESPECIALLY in the shower!

I haven’t actually listened to the speaker myself but from my past experience with JBL Speakers it’s been nothing but awesome sound…

I have many of their products and the JBL flip 7 is no exception to their quality engineering of sound products it’s truly incredible. I’ve been a musician for years and love, listening to music and this flip 7 as we Well, know it is very portable and sounds fantastic. The bass the mids and the treble are outstanding and incredible bass.I can’t believe such a small unit to put out the Lows that this product does I highly highly recommend this product
