A: Thank you for your inquiry. The published up to playtime is the maximum battery life at low volume and without bass boost. Higher volume and bass-heavy music will reduce playtime, similar to how a phone battery drains faster with a brighter screen.
To test your battery, charge it to 100% and listen to music at low volume without bass boost. If the battery lasts close to the published play time, it's functioning well. Great speaker with amazing battery life
I recently upgraded from a UE Megaboom speaker to the JBL Charge 6, and it’s been an incredible trade-up! The battery life on this speaker is fantastic—it can last the entire day outdoors with me! Another great feature is its waterproof design, so I can bring it to the pool without any worries. The sound quality is also exceptional,it plays all my different music genres perfectly!

This was an anniversary gift for my husband, I put a picture taken from our view renewal on the beach in Grand Cayman. I think I won some serious Brownie points with this speaker cause he said" This is fing awesome!" If that isn't a satisfied customer I don't know what is!

Bought this about 2 weeks ago, and it's exceeded expectations. Sound quality is way better than I anticipated for the size, feels durable, and it's easy to carry around. Battery life is the standout, though; I use it daily and rarely think about charging it. Solid buy.

Great speaker with amazing build ,deep and rich sound ,superb bass. Feels sturdy ,looks great and isn't heavy considering its size. Easy to connect ,and the app is great for customising sound. Only thing is - for the price ,at least a charging cable would be nice? No longer issuing plugs is silly to me already ,but not even a charging cable when I pay this much ,really?

Absolutely fantastic. I thought long and hard before buying this portable speaker and seriously wondered just how good it would be, at the same time I was thinking about buying a much more expensive offering. Sound wise it is brilliant using bluetooth, sound quality when connected via a cable using a lossless audio subscription is on another level all together, excellent. If your considering a portable speaker that fills the room with excellent sound, look no further. This speaker is brilliant.

I bought this speaker like 3 weeks ago and it's amazing. I use it around the house and take it paddle boarding. It is an must buy to take you portable speaker game to the next level. The battery life is also really good it would last days before I needed to charge it.

First class speaker for all audio ear worms out there, I sometimes use it vertically for lift off , I may get another or some earphones for more exploration, I would highly recommend the sound, even at high volume it doesn’t loose the clarity . It’s a purple monster of loveliness.

Terrible Battery Life
The sounds quality is as amazing as any other Hal speaker we have bought but, We replaced our charge 4 with this speaker and have been so disappointed at how quickly the battery dies. The charge 4 battery lasted weeks while this one doesn’t make it an evening. Would not recommend.

Our JBL Charge 6 has a published up to playtime of up to 28 hours which is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels, and how long the battery lasts depends on volume and music content. It is possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Battery playtime also decreases as the battery ages and all batteries, over time, will slowly wear down. Please charge the battery for 3 hours and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up to playtime, the battery is working fine. Love the custom colors, everything is great
I bought this for my husband's birthday. I made a custom image for it, and it came out beautifully! Exactly how it was displayed on the shop page, the colors came out true to image. It's super portable, has good sound, and while we haven't put it through anything rough I have high hopes for it's durability. I like the carry handle and the buttons are nice and large. Super easy to connect to the phone.

I purchased a personalized JBL Charge 6 and it came out perfectly! I used a personal photo along with some of the patterns they offer. Im very happy with the way the photo showed on the speaker. I have other JBL speakers so I knew it would sound great as well so this review was more so aimed at how good the custom speaker turned out.

So far it's been a little over a week, and it's been great! The sound is perfect…the graphics are perfect! Highly recommend doing the customization for anyone looking the purchase this product. Just be patient with the delivery, takes a little while but it’s worth the wait!!!
