Dry and tasteless
I followed the directions for cooking 15 to 17 minutes in a skillet and sausage was dry and nearly tasteless. Will cook for much less time as I work my way through the package. And will use more oil and condiments, like cooked fruit or jam. You need to amend those cooking instructions.

Fantastic alternative
We have had to find alternative foods since my husband was bitten by the lone Star tick. He can now no longer eat any mammal products, that includes turkey sausage with collagen casing. I am so thankful that your company makes such versatile products that keep our meals interesting and nutritious. The tube (?) sausage style in the breakfast, italian, taco flavors have been a lifesaver.

I will buy it every week.
The doctor put my husband on a low fat diet because of his liver, so we tried this sausage. We were pleasantly surprised with its taste. I even fried it in a skillet and made gravy.(I dissolved my flour with a whisk in water so as not to have grease in my gravy) Made biscuits with whole wheat flour and olive oil. Will buy it again.

This is a great product compared to other turkey sausage. I would like to just find a turkey sausage that does not have the spicy taste. Definitely will buy again. If you ever have any that doesn't have that spicy aftertaste I will be the first to buy it!

Inferior product
Really inferior product, lots of water, mushy. Must have been previouly frozen for a long period of time. Why is it so different than other Jennie-O ground turkey? Not worth the 1 dollar savings.

I used the ground breakfast sausage in egg casseroles. It is great! I started using it when we were in Florida but I cannot find it at home in Ohio :(

Novice Cook Friendly and TASTY!
I'm a young adult living alone for the first time and have finally given up on fast food, so I grabbed this product at the grocery store hoping it would be a nice, lean protein source for breakfast. I noticed it was "seasoned" but, never give pre-seasoned food much credit until I've cooked and tasted it myself. I was super surprised after cooking this "sausage" by how delicious it was considering it's turkey and not the traditional pork sausage. It's made my breakfast super easy and protein packed!

What is in it? The ingredient list hides the presence of potential allergens by the categorical inclusion SPICES. I and my family could be seriously harmed under that practice. This Hormel Foods practice also seems to hide the possible business fact that the specific "spices" varies to meet the needs of each batch of meat to become marketable. Best if there were the usual verbiage regarding food allergens of specific ones potentially being present and then accurately listing them.

I think the people giving this product a bad review have....
I think the people giving this product a bad review have been drinking (heavily), or it wasn't the All Natural Turkey Sausage. Dry, flavorless, tastes like dog food, half water? Keeping in mind this is NOT pork, its turkey. Like most people I find it delicious and very edible. Not sure what the "one star" crew are talking about. As for the water weight after cooking, doesn't pork do the same thing, but instead of water its FAT?

Wish I had found this earlier… I like the taste of pork sausage but never liked the gristle in it. Omgosh… since I have alpha gal I've been trying new things with only turkey or chicken. So happy to have this now and no gristle! No artificial preservatives or flavors!! Awesome flavor and texture! Sausage I actually enjoyed! I appreciate this product!

My go to sausage and I eat this every day.
I have this for breakfast, and I really like it. I was diagnosed with autoimmune disorders and this is the ONLY sausage that I have found that does not cause me harm. Yes, it took time getting used to from regular sausage but now I don't want any other kind/type of sausage.

Absolutely love this product.
This is one of the lowest calorie breakfast sausages I've been able to find that still tastes like sausage. Absolutely love this mixed in with some eggs. If I only had one complaint it would be that their seems to be a lot of weight lost through water while cooking.

The human body has no need for sugar because it has zero nutritional value and harms the blood stream and vital organs. Why not just leave the product alone like your regular ground Turkey that you do not add sugar to.

Turkey Taco Soup 1 lb ground Jennie O Turkey Sausage 1 lg Onion Brown together. Drain: 1 can whole kernel corn & 1 can black beans. Place in a pot with 1 can diced tomatoes 1 small can green chiles 1 small can enchilada sauce 2 C chicken broth 1 packet taco seasoning 1 packet ranch seasoning Heat thoroughly Enjoy with chips cheese sour cream etc
