Description
Whether it's helping you wake up in the morning or reminding you of an appointment, the JENSEN JCR-235 Dual Alarm Projection Clock Radio won't let you down. This dual alarm clock radio features a large 1.2" white LED display with dimmer control, so it's very easy to see from across the room. It features two wake options, alarm or FM radio and also includes sleep and snooze functions. Another great feature is the built-in red LED projector. The current time can be projected on the wall or ceiling, and can also be rotated 180 degrees for easy viewing. Also included is a 1 amp USB port for charging your smartphone, and a battery back-up for the saving the clock settings if the power is interrupted.

Q: Are you able to turn the numbers on the clock itself off and only have the numbers projected? How many dimmer settings are there and what are they?

Regarding your question about the JENSEN Digital Dual Alarm Projection Clock Radio - Black (JCR-238): The manual does not indicate whether you can turn the clock off while the numbers are projected. Q: does this clock reset itself automatically when we change from regular to daylight saving time and do you send the appropriate backup battery with it.

A: The change to daylight saving needs to be set manually. Battery back-up for clock - 1 x CR2032 (Battery not included)

Loved this alarm clock. My daughter and I were upstairs, she said she heard a buzzing, then smelt something burning. It was the alarm clock. We unplugged it and it never worked again. Fire hazard.

We wanted to replace an ageing similar projection clock, and ordered this as one of the few options Target offers. While the clock has decent-sized numbers, the projection system is subpar; the light from it is so faint that's it's only visible (even in a dark room) if you project onto a wall a few inches from it. It's invisible on the ceiling where we need it to land. On the unit I received the projection also shows only 88:88, not the time set on the clock. The electronics and/or mechanical parts on this particular unit don't work well; if I tilt the projection to try (in vain) to place somewhere visible, it often stops working altogether. The controls for setting the time aren't great, either. All in all, the unit feels cheap in every way. It's a disappointing purchase and will be going back to the store right away.

This is a great little clock radio! The numbers on the clock are large and white...so, they are very easily seen from across the room. The best part is the ability to project the time onto a wall or the ceiling. It is invisible during the day, but when the lights go out, the time is projected in large red numbers wherever you set it to appear. I love this in the middle of the night and I can see it even without my glasses. The sound from the radio isn't that great but I only use it to wake up in the morning to listen to traffic, news, and weather reports while getting dressed. I don't think you will be disappointed. I am super happy with this purchase!

Works great! My son loves being able to see the time while he is on the top bunk. You can't see the projected time though if the light is on or if it is daylight.

The main reason I bought this alarm clock was for the projection feature. It was delivered on Wednesday and by Friday it stopped projecting the time! Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it.

I bought this clock for my mother. The projection is not bright enough for her to see clearly. She is 99 and has macular degeneration and needs large and bright to be able to see the time. This clock did not work for her. For someone with normal sight it would be OK, but the brightness is not as displayed.

I really like this projection clock. Has dual alarms and AM/FM. Great! The only thing is I can't get it to flip 180 degrees projection time. The button you tap is the ON/OFF button.
