My daughter enjoyed this scooter for a few months, but cannot ride it anymore. First, the handlebar covers kept falling off and eventually one of the plastic ends came off. We were able to turn it around, but it still doesn’t cover the metal end of the handlebar. Then, the handlebar folded down while she was riding, causing her to fall off and get hurt. After reading other reviews, it sounds like this may be an issue with the folding mechanism. It will not lock in place, so we are unable to use it now. Very disappointed.

Great quality, better than I expected. Would have given a full 5 stars but even with brand new batteries it doesn't light up or have any sound. Not a deal breaker, my 4yo doesn't know it's supposed too. Just bummed because he would have loved that.

This scooter is the best on the market. I brought radio flyers and the wheels were very cheap and the turns were not good. I see a lot of people saying negative things about this bike but it’s heavy duty and the wheels are much better and my kids gain balance. And please put the proper shoes in your kids and a helmet if it’s there first time.

I opened this up to give to my daughter as a gift, and the front wheels were broken and completely detached from the scooter. Only a relatively thin piece of plastic is what keeps the wheels connected. Very disappointed something like this would be sold by Target. Probably a future recall waiting to happen.

Poorly made, do not recommend after using 2 different scooters

I felt validated when I saw another 1-star review stating the same thing...My daughter was riding the scooter and apparently the wheel's bolt came out, the wheel came off, and she went flying off the scooter with pretty bad facial abrasions. Fortunately she had her helmet on! My son has the same type of Jetson scooter (we bought it before this incident) and the wheels completely rusted out rendering the scooter unusable after having it down the shore for only a week. Although I love the look of these scooters, I definitely do NOT recommend.

I bought the scooter at the start of school for my 4 year old and there are multiple broken parts and no replacements to be found for purchase. Should last longer than a couple of months, but I guess I have a lemon.
