Joie Kava and Rue Travel System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free in exchange for an honest review, I seriously cannot PRAISE this travel system enough! It is affordable, lightweight and the stroller collapses perfectly to hardly take up any trunk space! I love that the release for the car seat is attached to the base instead of the actual car seat. They really thought of everything, those white buttons on the car seat are to release it from the stroller attachment! 🤯 we have been using this system for almost a week now and am not switching back to our old anytime soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this travel system! The Joie™ Kava & Rue™ in Shale has been a lifesaver. The stroller is super easy to steer (even one-handed when I’ve got coffee in the other), and the car seat snaps in without me wrestling with it. The shale color is gorgeous and hides crumbs and spills like magic. Folds down quickly and fits in my car trunk with room to spare. Feels sturdy, comfy for my baby, and just makes life a little easier.

It is almost impossible to click the infant carrier into the stroller/adapters. The regular toddler seat clicks into the stroller fine, but the adapters for the infant carrier are SO cheaply made. It almost felt like the infant seat didn’t even fit the stroller or that something was defective. It’s a beautiful looking stroller, but the quality doesn’t match that, unfortunately. Had to return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This joie travel system works great! With the suspension, the ride is smooth. The infant seat is easy to install into my car and to remove. It came in 2 boxes, one for stroller and one for the infant seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They delivered so fast. It was delivered to my address after few days claimed. The carseat is lightweight, it makes me easy to carry out baby to go outside. The stroller is a little bit heavier, but still lightweight. Happy to have it gỏ my boy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stroller is of great quality and has so many features. The recline goes pretty far back for a napping baby, the canopy is very extended to shade baby, the lap bar swivels in all directions and is removable, the cup holder is large and sturdy and can be put on either side, the foot rest can be flat or down and it folds very slender. The turning and steering is smooth and the leather handle has a nice feel. The clearance for storage is massive and it comes with a nice storage bag that can be removed and worn as a cross body or fanny. Now the cons. It isn't very one handed friendly like a parent would need. To adjust the handle higher there are two sliding pieces that kind of blend it it was tricky to find without reading the manual. To fold the stroller was hard to figure out but once we did it was a breeze but it has to be just right to be flatter and compact. The car seat has me a little disappointed. I do love that it is deep and light weight and has an easy to install base. There are easy instructions all over the car seat for usage. What gets me is the release for the seat from the base the button is on the base keeping one hand on the car seat as opposed to the release on the back of the seat so one hand has to do all the lifting. The canopy is kinda short and the sides are very flimsy plastic which is why it is light weight. ALL car seats are tested for safety and must pass strict guidelines but this just doesn't sit well with me it somehow doesn't feel sturdy and tough enough for my peace of mind. I wouldn't personally buy the car seat but would purchase the stroller. Thank you Influencer and Joie for allowing me to give an honest review from a seasoned mom in exchange for this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the Kava felt solid and well-made, not flimsy like some travel systems in the same price range. The fabric is soft but durable, the leatherette touches on the handle and bumper bar give it a premium look, and the crossbody bag accessory felt like a thoughtful touch. Setup was simple and didn’t require any tools. I had it assembled in under 15 minutes. The ride is incredibly smooth. Even over sidewalks, gravel, or bumpy park trails, the suspension really absorbs the shocks well. Canopy is generously sized and offers great sun protection. I also appreciate the ventilation panels—it doesn’t get stuffy in there.
