A: Great question! The nutmeg stroller is not compatible with a bassinet. But you can use the nutmeg stroller from birth! To use the nutmeg stroller for your newborn, fully recline the seat, fold the calf support up, and remove the occupant retention panels from underneath the stroller seat. Then, connect the panels to the stroller. Remember always to harness your baby in the stroller, even when using the occupant retention for newborns.

A: Thanks for reaching out. To use the nutmeg stroller as a travel system, the car seat is placed on top of the fully reclined stroller seat, attaching directly to the arm bar and secured with the infant car seat lock.

A: Unfortunately, the nutmeg in the nutmeg and rue travel system does not come with the expandable canopy. Currently, the expandable canopy with ventilation panels is only available on the exclusive nutmeg and mint latch travel system in the Maple fashion available at Target.

The material of the stroller its self is great. It’s easy to wipe clean if needed. It also has a lot of different set up styles to choose from weather that be laying almost all the way back or up for the older children. Both my toddler and infant love it. I love the fact that you can bend the seat at the end for those kids who have short legs and need a smaller seat to sit in. You can also bend the end of the set up and buckle it to make almost a baby bed stroller. It has a decent bit of storage under neither to store a diaper bag or other related stuff. It’s also light weight so it’s easy to handle with one hand. It weights less than 15 pounds. The car seat is just as amazing as the stroller. It’s also lighter than most infant car seats. It easy to wipe clean when needed. It comes with a newborn insert to make it safer. My infant loves this seat compared to other seats out there. It’s also to install in the car and it’s easy to pop in out. Like any typical car seat it comes with all the best safety features. Definitely worth the it. My littles ones loved it. Perfect for any family out there!!

The stroller is nice and lightweight I had no problem getting it out and in of the car. It’s very compact one hand fold. The stroller is perfect to navigate through crowds. The storage is nice and large underneath the stroller for my babies essentials. I absolutely love it. The car seat has lots of great features as well. It’s lightweight it has has a built in anti round bar on the base. It has removable inserts and covers you can take off and machine wash. It’s also easily removed from the base. It’s a very nice system for parents. I love it.

I loved that it comes with the spf 50 cover and it have a coffee cup holder. I can see this being our new favorite stroller and car seat was also super easy and very sturdy when locking into place. Highly recommend this lightweight set! We are very happy with it!

The car seat is lightweight, has plenty of cushion for baby and the straps are easy to adjust. I was shocked to learn that the canopy has UPF 50+ which is perfect for those sunny days. The stroller is so easy to collapse. I love that you only have to use one hand to collapse the stroller. It’s a game changer. The cup holder comes in handy and the bottom basket is spacious enough to hold a diaper bag and your own personal bag.

It comes out of the base nicely and clicks in easily. it’s not too bulky, about the same size as my Graco click connect car seat. The stroller is very lightweight and super easy to fold up and store. Takes up a lot less space than other travel systems I’ve tried. The wheels provide a smooth ride and easy maneuvering. The seat extends all the way down for infant use and the leg part has a really nice clicking system to lock it in various positions depending on your needs. Getting the car seat on the stroller correctly was a bit tricky but once I did it a couple times I got the hang of it. I recommend this system if you need something on the slim side and are looking for ease of use. It really is a stress free experience! Everything has these nice little click sounds to ensure you are engaging it correctly. The colors are very nice as well and gender neutral.

The car seat is nicely padded, with easy to set up base. The level indicator is an added bonus. The base and car seat click nicely together. The base is sturdy, and heavy. Very safe. The stroller is lightweight, and easy to lift into my trunk. It folds up easily. The stroller lays back for new babies, and sits up for bigger ones. The handles are leather wrapped, and posh. The stroller offers a smooth ride, with big wheels. The basket is nice and large. Perfect for my baby bag. I appreciate the cup holder, too. This is a premium brand. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

There is no resistance when you are pushing it. It's got a sleek look to it and has a nice soft bar in the front for the child to hold onto. It has a nice safety belt for the child that goes around the waist and the shoulder which I love because on other strollers they only have the waist belt and my son escapes out of it. It also allows you to change the position of your child from more of a sitting Position to a reclined position which is nice and it does it with ease. There is also a cup holder. I love using this thing. It also folds up small and convenient and gently so there is no fighting to fold it up or unfold it to use it. The car seat fits right into the stroller so if you have a newborn you can still use the stroller by putting the car seat in the stroller and it is safe as that is what it is made to do. They car seat is easy to install and I have no complaints from my child who uses it. Love this combo and I use it every chance I can get!! Recommend recommend recommend

As a family who loves to travel we are ALWAYS on the hunt for strollers that make our lives easier and the quick fold yet spacious design on this in unmatched. It has a smooth roll and easy fold, I am obsessed! I didn’t expect it to be this lightweight and easy to use — it’s been a total game-changer for us. My toddler usually can’t stand being stuck in a stroller, but he actually loves this one. The stroller is compact and so simple to fold and unfold. You only need one hand to be able to unfold it, and you also only need one hand to fold it back up and throw it in the trunk. Living in a big city with all the bumps, it was a breeze walking to the park; it rode smoothly, and I could push with one hand and sip my coffee with the other. I love the way it glides so smoothly, and turns are easy compared to my previous stroller. Storage is great and durable as we were able to fit toys and snacks. In addition folding is a breeze and it takes up less space in the trunk of car, leaving more from for groceries. My sister, who is due soon,n added it to her registry. I am gifting her it. She knows how many strollers I have been through, but I love this one. Over the holiday weekend, Grandma visited and was able to take it for a spin and stated that it was so easy to use without help. We had a few spills but nothing soap and water could not clean up. I'd only like to see more color options.

I am using this for my 3rd baby and switched from a baby jogger brand city mini. Wow, the features on the nutmeg are so much better. The car seat is so light and easily transportable. The stroller feels like a feather compared to my old strollers. It also has a one click, one hand fold/ unfold. Super convenient. I was worried that it wouldn’t be able to handle the terrains of the some the walks we do, but it pushed great and made it through different types of terrain. I highly highly recommend.

And you have a cup holder which fits perfect for my ice coffee. The infant car seat is easy to snap onto the stroller and go. It's great for shopping and going to the park for walks. And transferring into the car is easy with the car base. It only took a few minutes to set up the base in the car. I'm happy with the whole car seat / stroller system.
