The product itself is great! very easy to put together. But be aware....the color (Dove) is nothing like the pictures. The product is actually GREY!!

The playard and bassinet are great, very lightweight and easy to collapse and set up. I do wish it stood up on its own while collapsed like the 4moms. I give it 3 stars because the changing table is terrible. It isn’t made of wipe clean material and does not come off the frame to be able to wash it. We had to throw it out after one really bad diaper and we couldn’t get the pad clean again. Would give five stars if the changer was able to be cleaned.

These are son nice . I purchased one 35 years ago cause we were traveling. so convent and easy to fold up and travel with. I did purchase the sheet that fits the mattress

I called Customer service yesterday because they bought the damage and when I opened the box parts of the crib were bad. I was trying to get a discount because I could probably fix the dent and the problem with the bed, but they didn’t want to help me but I’m not could’ve taken it back and I’m not gonna purchase it anymore. I try to tell the lady that and she didn’t help.

I do really like it but the cover at least for the bassinet should be removable. It stains very easily just from drool and the spot stays. I think the changing pads should also be removable to be able to put a cover on. It’s a bit expensive to not have this feature.

LOVE this pack and play! Does have an odd chemically smell straight out of the box though.

The set up was not as easy as I anticipated. The mattress pad was not very firm so I had to add another mattress.

I went with a different travel system over Joie and regretted it soon after.. So when I needed a travel crib/playyard setup I didn't think twice after seeing the Joie sesame xl in "dove". Thought I was buying the more reasonable priced option and that the more costly ones were just for their name/status symbol... WOW was I wrong!! 2 things: 1) Dove appears to be a neutral cream with slight gray undertones.. however, upon opening it I saw a gray so dark I assumed they somehow sent the darker gray color in a mislabeled box.. Nope! After reading the description, it says it may appear darker in different lighting.. and that's an understatement. I tried gaslighting myself into seeing it lighter than it is and it's just not happening... it is very clearly a plain cool medium gray. The photo editing they did made it appear more cream, so the pics online do not accurately reflect the real color. Secondly, the smell on the mattress is so strong my baby smelled of it the next morning after sleeping on it. They state you don't need sheets with it, but I personally would wake up with a migraine if I was on something that chemically pungent. After a few days of airing out, and changing the sheets a few times, it smells a little less- but still too much for me to comfortably let my child sleep on it. It's a strong mix of treated lumber (used in the mattress as its bottom structure. Sealed by the mattress cover so there is no way to remove it without compromising the safety of the mattress.). Plus a strong chemical plastic smell. As much of a hassle as it will be I have to now load this thing back up and return it to target for a different brand. Uppa baby is green guard certified and discloses its materials and their sources- which Joie does not. So I can only assume the smell is this thing off gassing VOCs used in the manufacturing process. If you have time to let it air out before using then it might work for you, but if you need it asap, if your child has super sensitive skin, or if you are prone to migraines from smells/ultra sensitive to strong scents: then I'd absolutely not waste your time on this like I did. Will now be one of the insufferable nuna/doona/uppa baby moms so thanks for that too Joie!!

Really like the side zipper feature and the mattress is softer feeling than others but it is not water proof or resistant at all. Every bit of drool or anything leaves marks/stains

The one hand fold is nice and this would be nice for an older child, but not good for a baby. The bassinet says it’s sleep safe, but it is not flat and there is no way to make it flat, so it is actually not sleep safe at all. You could not safely use this for unsupervised naps or overnight, which is what we wanted to use it for. The mattress is also not easily washed. It is not waterproof and absorbs messes, but the fabric part can’t be removed and machine washed, so you have to spot clean it, which is very inconvenient and difficult to get it cleaned properly. Sleep safe mattress protectors that fit this bassinet are difficult to find, and if you don’t have a mattress protector, liquid messes soak into the foam part of the mattress, which is very difficult to thoroughly clean. Truly a terrible design for babies. If you have a potty trained child or at least a child who is over 1 year old and doesn’t require a perfectly flat, sleep safe mattress, this might work for you. Terrible option for babies under 1 year of age, though.

Pros: Easy to set up and stylish Cons: Hard to clean and bassinet weight requirement is up to 15 lbs. The fabric of the padding does not come off for easy washing so if you live in a cold place like me, its really hard to get the pad dry if outside is freezing. First day use, my 7 month old at the time would drool when he does tummy time and the drool will stain the padding so easily. At first, I thought it was just drying up but it'll be like a week later and all the drool stains are still there. Regret the purchase tbh as this was close to $200, not worth it inn my opinion. Wish I went with a different brand mainly due to the difficulty of cleaning. We mainly got this because our baby outgrew the bassinet and I was not ready to put him in his room where his crib is.

We were gifted a huge, cheap playard that is great for outside play, but the size was an issue to use inside. After testing out an expensive playard and hating it so much, I returned it to try out the Joie. We purchased the Joie LX playard to use for sleep and play while traveling, and independent play inside. Super impressed with the quality of this playpen and the easy one hand set up (literally one handed). The pad is very comfortable and my baby sleeps comfortably through the night when we travel. It fits nicely under the Hiccapop sleep tent! Purchased this when my son was 9 months old, so we have not used the changing pad or zip in bassinet, but it’s very nice quality and will be perfect for baby #2. He is obsessed with the zipper crawl in, and loves to crawl in and out during independent play! Convenient storage pockets for diapers, wipes, supplies. We’ve used this every day for about 4 months now and while traveling and it’s still in perfect condition. Very impressed and highly recommend this for quality, durability and price compared to other really expensive options!

The bassinet portion is only supported by fabric and it slopes towards the middle. It’s not safe for sleep and there’s no way to flatten it. Otherwise the changing attachment works great and the mattress is flat if you put it on the bottom of the play yard.

The bassinet mattress caves in the middle making it unsafe for sleep.

We travel quite often and needed a travel crib. My 11 month old sleeps great in this and also loves to play in it. The changing pad is removable and would be very handy for a newborn
