Joseph Joseph Bread Box with Bamboo Cutting Board Lid White: Kitchen Bread Storage Container, Plastic & Bamboo

Bought to replace an older version of this bread bin. Bamboo not as good as oak, more lightweight plastic than earlier model. Not as good quality, feel disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking item. It was incredibly difficult to get the plastic wrapping off the lid. Regarding storage, it's not wonderfully capacious, but it is able to hold the following selection: two boxes of mince pies, and two packets of table water biscuits. Sleek and understated design.

I bought this bread bin to replace an old metal one. This is perfect, it sits nicely on my work top. It holds quite a lot of bread, also pancakes and rolls. I love the wooden top which gives it a classy look as well as being functional.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Can’t justify the price.

Not great for keeping bread as seems to make it too soft. Might be something to do with the plastic making it sweat. Also seems quite expensive for aplastic bin and bamboo lid.

Lid is great and really smart Space is more than adequate Plastic ‘bin’ looks a bit cheap and lets the overall look of the product down

Good size clean lines Lid ideal as doubles as cutting board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much neater than my old stainless steel bin, keeps the bread/ rolls fresh and easier to wipe out. Easily stores in a cupboard ( personal preference) and so versatile with the lid to slice uncut loaves. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought as a gift for someone. Looks great and lid and board combination is a good idea. Think this will be a very acceptable and functional gift.

Very nice quality, and a long term investment. This is the best one, by far. I had one years ago, which went to my ex, and I’m glad I bought another.

The lid is a chopping board so great space saver too

I had one of these 5 years ago and it was excellent, so despite the expense bought another one in December 22. I was disappointed that it was an off-white plastic. The older one was a brighter, clean-looking material that was stiffer - I think was mica rather than plastic. It just felt more substantial than the new model and better value for money.

Good design and functionality. It is a great shame that your delivery agents are not up to this standard. joy your customer service has saved your reputation, however we have wasted a lot of time waiting for deliveries and collection of the parcels. I calculate it’s about 2-3 days
