Awesome for storing raw milk
These are awesome! After reading the reviews, I almost didn’t get them, but I’m so glad I took a chance! If you use them properly and understand what they are for they work great! First, the plastic lids are a tad finicky and you need to be sure it’s fully on so that it creates a proper seal to keep out bacteria and prevent leakage. I get raw milk in glass gallons that are impossible to pour, and I wanted something reasonably sized that my kids can use too. These containers are a great shape for the fridge, the base is rectangular, and they each hold a half gallon. You need a funnel or pitcher in order to fill them. They are meant to be upright, I would never try to store them in their side, especially since the lids don’t always snap on fully the first try. These are also designed for the fridge, not freezer, and you cannot pour hot liquid into them as I see some people have tried. Glass has to slowly come to temperature and freezing or heating it quickly will cause it to break. These are for juice, milk, smoothie, or tea (made separately and cooled first!). I really like the size, side grips, and the lids. Press firmly on top and listen for the click to know that then lid is fully on. I wash these out with a water bottle sponge brush and it e we irks great. I would never put them in a dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these canisters! The glass of very durable and is dishwasher and freezer safe. I wouldn’t recommend putting the lid on with hot liquids until fully cooled down to ensure it seals properly, but I had zero leaks with room temperature and cold liquids. It also came with four extra standard lids and one pour-spout lid (with a spout cover attached). They’re a very big size and can fit my carton of milk and jug or orange juice easily while looking perfectly uniform in my fridge. It’s easy to apply a small label for best-by dates and product names prior to adding cold liquids (to avoid the condensation).

Perfect size for cream!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a dairy cow, so this was the PERFECT addition to my kitchen. I use a larger container for my milk but this size is perfection for my heavy cream I skim off the top of my fresh milk! It’s easy to clean with a baby bottle brush too. Heavy cream is a great tester for this because of the fat content. The slimmer bottle is easy to grip for my smaller hands and my kids little hands as well. This will be a staple in our kitchen for as long as we have the cow, I prefer glass over plastic any day!

When I took orders for bottled milk, the bottle deposit was $5. So, this being a set of 3 at $25 ought to have some value add to make up for the greater cost. I’ve purchased other JoyJolt products before and was satisfied, so I got these too. The glass turned out to be as expected. But the caps weren’t all working. One of them was very hard to press onto the bottle and then was not leakproof once I got it on. But that’s also probably why there are six regular caps in total for three bottles. Some of them will be duds.

Lids need work
I bought this entire set of 3 just for one bottle and the pour lid, so my kid could pour her own milk easier. Unfortunately, the pour spout lid pours SO slowly its pretty unusable. The bottles are great, solid, cute, but the plastic caps are very hard to get off, and the silicone pour spout is just way too slow to use.
