A: Just Dance 2023 is compatible with the Nintendo Switch Lite. You will need a Joy-Con or the Just Dance controller app on a mobile device to play, however.

A: Yes - going forward, Just Dance has announced they will be digital updates. Most likely relating to "expansions" that will be an additional charge

A: You can play Just Dance 2023 on the Nintendo Switch by either using the Nintendo JoyCons, or by using the Just Dance 2023 controller application on a mobile device. Each person playing will need their own JoyCon or mobile device, however.

A: Just Dance 2023 introduces brand new songs in it's catalog. Just Dance +, the new subscription service introduced with Just Dance 2023, does include a variety of songs from past Just Dance games, however.

A: You do not need a camera to play Just Dance 2023. Movements are tracked either by the motion control feature of the Joycons, or by the Just Dance Controller application on a mobile device.

My review of Just Dance 2023: Graphics- awesome. Deff needed a refresh, previous games were getting a little stale. Choreography- much to the disappointment of my inner ear, significantly increased amount of spinning. Also to the disappointment of my geriatric joints, an unnecessary amount of floor work has joined the chat. It is not an attractive thing for any of us to see. Just Dance Plus- hold up, I renewed Just Dance Unlimited before purchasing because I thought a company couldn’t possibly be so triflin to require a person buy ANOTHER concurrent subscription in order to enjoy the game. This is a scam. Music- if it wasn’t for Britney and Lady Gaga ft. Beyoncé, this game would have been total trash. TY Britney for saving the day (as always). Crossplay- happy they added it but nobody is dumb enough to buy this game besides me, therefore, I have no one to play with. Animals were (unintentionally) harmed in the research process of this review. Flailing factor of Just Dance 2023: off the chain.

I loved just dance 22 so I went ahead and purchased 23. Biggest mistake, it’s completed awful. It’s hard to navigate and the song selection is trash.

I’m a big fan of Just Dance games, but this one in particular has to be the worst one yet. This one has very little songs to dance to. Not to mention, you must purchase the year pass and with very little songs, it is not worth the cost.

I’m so glad I didn’t pay full price for this game. We have a few previous versions of Just Dance for Switch that we’ve enjoyed playing as a family, I decided I’d buy the latest version and even go Unlimited for once. But 2023 version is so complicated to use. My kids and I like to play together (4 players) and there’s no dancer cards, so my kids all get labeled “Heather 1”, “Heather 2”, “Heather 3” which is even more mixed up as “Heather 1” is controller 2, etc. Secondary players don’t get to choose names or avatars or anything. Taking away ‘ownership’ of your name and avatar really takes away from the appeal. I liked a lot of the songs offered but the interface is very difficult to navigate. For instance, I resorted to using the search function to find We Don’t Talk About Bruno, and the only result was Bruno Mars Locked Out of Heaven. We did eventually find the Disney song but, really, it wasn’t easy and the search function was a waste of time. I’m disappointed and won’t be trying Unlimited after all, at least not with 2023.

I bought the hand straps and this game. Game could be fun but they require a subscription to get any good songs! What a rip off, for a more expensive game I expected it to be more than a gateway to a monthly subscription that I’m never going to be able to afford, thanks for ruining a Christmas gift, what a waste of money, don’t waste yours.

Game would not work no matter what I did. My wifi works. My NAT is B. (open.), I’ve restarted everything, etc. Still says “Connection Timeout.” I shouldn’t have to connect a computer to my switch just to get this game to work. :/

JD22 was much better. This version has no sweat mode and you can only have one profile. Not worth if you plan to play with family/friends locally.

This is such a great exercise and fun activity for me and my child to do together, HOWEVER you have to purchase Just Dance Unlimited for the year to unlock all of the songs. It is basically a subscription service. There is a free trial so you can decide and it's 30 days. We went ahead and bought Just Dance 2022 and play the free songs on this one for now.

This game has a totally different look and it’s much more complicated w it’s layout. You can’t use unlimited. And sometimes the controls will just stop working. And it isn’t my system cuz I have a brand new OLED. This game is a piece of crap and even tho I got it on sale I wish I could get a refund
