[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cereal is very tasty I love chocolate so this is great for any chocolate lovers. It also makes your milk chocolatey too. Definitely one of my favorites to snack on for a sweet craving.

Tastes okay but not as chocolatey-tasting nor satisfying to eat as the old chocolate little bites. And it didn't turn my milk (I use soy) chocolatey, even when I left the wheats in for 20 minutes as an experiment! (For that I deducted a star from the 3-stars I would have given it.) Admittedly, despite this negative review, there is a 50% chance I purchase this variety over the regular frosted mini wheats the next time I crave mini wheats again--because the eating experience is pretty similar to that of eating the regular mini wheats (and I like chocolate). HOWEVER, this is not a good thing, Kellogg, as in the past I would buy both regular frosted mini wheats and chocolate frosted mini wheats little bites in the same grocery trip, whereas I would only buy one box now since they are so similar.

My two youngest kids, who have ASD, are extremely picky eaters, so when they actually tried these and liked them, I jumped for joy! Introducing foods is already difficult, but this one was easy. They loved them. The fact that they're high and fiber and have excellent ingredients and vitamins makes this mama even happier. Highly recommend this cereal and will continue to purchase them.

I'd pay $3 more a box for originial choclate recipe, and I bet everyone else would as well These get soft way to quick and have no flavor

If you like chocolate cereal but don’t want that sweet sugary taste, this is your cereal. It was really crispy/crunchy with a hint of chocolate. I see the chocolate inside the middle but you can’t taste the chocolate as much. The packaging seal was good and it tasted fresh. Some of my kids like it and some don’t due to the texture.

I was really hoping these would be the same as (or at least similar to) the now-discontinued Chocolate Mini Wheats Little Bites, but just in regular mini wheat size. Sadly, they are not. I found them to taste exactly like regular frosted mini wheats, and contrary to the claim on the box, they did not even turn the milk chocolately. Maybe they would if you let them completely disintegrate, but I don't prefer my cereal mushy and never found out.

Unlike the original Mini-Wheats, which are sweet and tasty, these lacked that sugary kick. I expected a rich cocoa flavor, but it just wasn’t there. The pieces barely tasted chocolatey, and any cocoa hint was faint at best. The only plus was that it did turn my milk chocolatey brown—but even then, the milk itself had no real flavor. It felt like eating a watered-down version of what I hoped for. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re craving that sweet, cocoa experience. Stick with the classic Mini-Wheats if you want something tasty; the cocoa version just misses the mark entirely.

These are still good and I may have liked them more if I did not try the original chocolate ones. They turn your milk chocolate like the box says and that tasted good. They are not overly sweet. I feel like the frosted part is lacking some. My kids are not a fan sadly but I would definitely eat them.

The packaging is fun and definitely stands out on the shelf—bright, bold, and clearly cocoa-themed, which got my hopes up. Nutritionally, they’re not bad for a sweet cereal. You get a good amount of whole grains and some added fiber, which is a nice bonus. Taste-wise, though, they were just too sweet for me. The cocoa flavor is there, but it’s kind of drowned out by all the sugar. As for the texture, I wasn’t a fan. The texture is great and it is a very filling cereal but they could have more flavor and frosting!! I just wish it had more chocolate flavor like they advertise! But overall they were nice to try! 🍫 it also didn’t make my milk as chocolatey as promised !!
