The 5/8 inch diameter Twisted Birdcage curtain rod in pewter or weathered brown features matching twisted openwork cage finial ends. Use in your kitchen, bedroom, dining room, and living room to hang light to medium weight curtains. The telescoping rod adjusts from 28 to 48 inches, 48 to 86 inches, or 90 to 130 inches to fit your window and projects 3.02 inches from the wall. It is ideal for hanging curtains with pockets, grommets, back tabs, and tab tops, but can also be used with clip rings. Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel curtain rod with decorative metal finials (4.31" L x 1.68" W x 1.68" H), mounting brackets, screws, drywall anchors, and installation instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the twisted birdcage design of this curtain rod on my window. It elevates the look of my older windows and the pewter color goes well with the dark grey of my window shades. The rod is heavy duty and holds the room darkening shades with ease. The only outdoor with putting the rod up is that the instructions said to use 1/4" drill bit for the wall anchors but that was way too big and really needed to be about half that size for the anchors included in the kit. We keep a variety of wall anchors and screws on hand and since we already drilled the larger hole per the instructions we used our own that fit the hole we made and it worked perfectly.

They have the wrought iron look without the weight. Easy to hang and use, looks great on the wall and functions as it should for curtains to slide across.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design on the ends of the poles. Simple yet elegant. I'm currently not using it for a window curtain though. I'm actually using it to hang potted indoor plants. I need my plants to get sunlight but needed a way to get my plants in the window as I don't have other options. It was easy to install and looks great. The only issue I'm having is the two sliding pole pieces is not snug. So it can be super easy to slide apart if you are not careful. Also because it's not a snug fit, it bends in the middle. I will unfortunately have to buy another bracket for the middle to sit on otherwise it will eventually bend too much and become useless. So for now, my other 3 plants will have to wait until I can get another bracket.
