It can be used for making whipped cream, quick ice cream, cakes, frostings, and more. The whisk attachment works great for smoothies and scrambled eggs. The sleek look and color matches well with my other small kitchen appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach electric mixer. For a smaller electrical mixer it is not too bad at all. It really mixes stuff for baking well. It has pretty good mixing power in regard to pancake mix and the thicker batters. It does a great job with light appliances. Very easy to use Good option feeds. I would recommend this appliance to your friends. I definitely don’t have any problems with it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with this mixer. I've used it to make a pudding, an angel food cake mix, and whipped cream. The motor didn't seem to struggle at all, even while mixing the thick pudding. The attachments are two normal beaters and a whisk beater. It doesn't come with a way to store the beaters with the mixer, but I don't mind putting them in a bag or in a drawer. The normal beaters worked well and so did the whisk. The whisk is pretty flexible, so you might not want to use it for super thick mixtures. It whipped the cream nicely. Overall, I recommend this mixer. It's fairly small, so it's compact, but is still powerful. It you need a hand mixer and don't need all sorts of other beater types and stuff, this hand mixer might be a good choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 5 speed hand mixer is a very capable machine. From cake batter to mashed potatoes and beyond this machine has done a great job. I even put it to the test mixing a batter for chocolate chip cookies and although it seemed a bit plaintiff at times it definitely got the job done. Another thing that I like about the hand mixer is the weight and the handle. The handle feels very good and is easy to grip along with the fact that it’s hefty enough in terms of weight, which gives you a feeling of confidence in terms of durability. This hand mixer is easy to use with very clear demarcations telling you what speed it is set to. One key to understand is the limitation of the mixer. In other words it is not a stand mixer and you can’t expect it to whip you up a bread dough. Kept within its capabilities this machine has the potential to last a very long time. Great little machine.

The hand mixer has good power and so far mixes things very well whether it is simple stuff like a cake mix or heavier mixing like icings. It has a nice soft-grip handle and comes three mixing attachments – the two beaters and a whisk. It is a relatively simple hand mixer but is excellent quality with a good motor. The built-in bowl rest is great as it allows you to rest the mixer to free your hands when you need to add additional ingredients. This is a great feature that I would now want in any future mixer. The whisk is great for whipping cream or making meringue with egg whites. My old hand mixer still works but this is a great upgrade and modern appliance for my kitchen so I can donate the old mixer to someone else. I have only had it a short time, but so far I really like the mixer and highly recommend it as the main thing for a hand mixer is having enough power to adequately mix different items in your kitchen. If you need a good basic mixer and are okay keeping it in a drawer as this version does not have a case, I think you would love this mixer!

I have never had a hand mixer fail but have gone through a number of mixers because they are either too big or clumsy to work with. I wanted a hand mixer that was lightweight with easy handling besides having the power to mix up whatever I am inspired to make. I've used this mixer for a few weeks and in that time I have not had it bog down with anything I am mixing. The mixer has power and is easy to handle. It is lightweight enough that I can easily use it for prolonged mixing. It is fairly simple with a pair of beaters and a whisk attachment. This mixer offers up simplicity, power and lightweight design. The flipper style control is easy to reach and doubles as the beater release feature. The beater release requires firm pressure but easy enough to manage with my malfunctioning hand/wrist. With the elevated flipper type control, I can change mixer speeds with an easy reach with my thumb. Other hand mixers I've had operated with a low profile dial and required both hands to change the speed. It might sound like a little thing but having to use both hands to change mixer speeds is a hassle and interferes with moving through the cooking task. The mixer has simple notched ledge on the underside of the mixer which works well for resting the mixer on the edge of the mixing bowl. The mixer can also sit with the beaters over the mixing bowl. Bottom line is that this hand mixer does the job with good power and is lightweight enough that my bad wrist can manage it without trouble.

I especially like the addition of the wise to use with the mixer. The on and off switch is very convenient on the top. The bowl rest is also a great help. Didn’t work on my small bowl but was perfect on medium size or larger.

With a nifty bowl rest, it stands on the counter or sits nicely on the edge of the bowl. The mixer comes with 2 beaters and includes a whisk. Nice styling, easy to hold, very contemporary looking and compact, it blends in well with my other kitchen appliances. I used the mixer for making Zucchini bread and was happy with how well it mixed a variety of ingredients. It's easy to clean and the beaters pop out with the push of a button. This Kitchen Collection Hand Mixer is a nice addition to my kitchen!

The mixing attachments varies so you can switch them out. The hand mixer itself isn’t as heavy weight as I’d like since sometimes you need that extra weight to make the hand mixer steady while mixing. It’s a pretty lightweight device which can have its pros and cons. The quality is decent and I can tell this mixer will last a while even with routine use. There are 5 different speeds which the same button serving as the detachment mechanism. That is pretty nice so you don’t have to worry about switching between different buttons to simply switch between speeds and detach the attachments when you’re ready to take them off, so this was a convenient and easy to use functionality.

My recipes came out perfectly. I like the modern design and black color. It fits with my other electric appliances in the kitchen. The product is user-friendly. Overall, a very convenient product! Pros: it’s compact & light and is a natural fit in my hand; the noise level is normal and acceptable; and finally, the bowl rest feature works great! Cons: really just a personal preference and nothing operational - it does not come with storage for the attachments and the cord. Not a deal-breaker! Overall - it’s a great little appliance with a solid design!

The box was beat up when it arrived but no issues with the mixer and it works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach hand mixer is woderful it has all the power you need to mixing your ingredients together and it has5 speeds for mixing. It even has a whisk to go with it. We used it to mix all of our ingredients to make omlet. It comes with two beaters and a whisk. The cord is about 5 foot long and plenty long enough to get the job done. You can stand the mixer on the end with the beaters over the food if you want or you can pull them out easily and lay them in the sink. The mixer is really easy to use and is very well made and very good quality.
