Do not buy. Coffee maker works but carafe uses very poor quality tempered glass and will crack on its own. Replacement carafes are very difficult to find. Would expect more from an appliance with the kitchenaid name.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's beautiful, and works so well! Coffee is on-time, and hot! It's quiet, doesn't have an annoyingly loud 'I'm done brewing' beep. I love the appearance, it's just a nice design. Only flaw I can find, when you raise the lid over the grinds, there is always condensation which drips down from the lid to the area around the coffee filter area. That's it. I usually soak it up with a paper towel as I change the grounds. BTW, did you happen to notice how the fold-down handle on the water container matches the metal band on the coffeemaker providing a seamless continuation of industrial design? I did :) Nice! I particularly appreciate the digital display that shows the remaining time on the warming function, ensuring my coffee stays at the perfect temperature without any guesswork. A standout feature is the dual brew buttons, one on the front and another on the side. This thoughtful design allows for flexible placement under cabinets, making it convenient to operate the machine from different angles. Kudos to KitchenAid for this smart engineering!

I like that I can use paper cone filter or gold filter. the WORST part of the design is the top lid to the coffee grounds. After the coffee has brewed and I am finished drinking & ready to clean up, when I lift the lid, water drips down either side of the lid. I have to quickly put a paper towel or hand towel to catch the water. Happens EVERY TIME. I've even waited until the PM to clean out the grounds but as soon as I lift the lid, the water pours/drips down each side. Annoying. I can't believe this wasn't identified during consumer testing. Otherwise I would have given 5 starts...but it loses 2 stars for this feature.

I loved this product until it came time to replace the water tank. The brewing time had exceeded what was normal and after thoroughly cleaning it (per instructions) I found a leak that was affecting the water flow. Trying not to replace the entire unit, I sought replacement parts to no avail. Sadly this makes me rethink my next purchase of a kitchenaid coffee machine- as for years, the company has always been a reliable brand. Not sure if I’ll replace my unit with a kitchenaid🤔

The last one still brewed coffee fine but the light faded out for the clock which made setting automatic brewing impossible. My new coffee maker brews fine but drains water terribly when raising the top. It drains down the outside on both sides so I have to put paper towels to catch the mess. For the most part I have gotten used to this.

The only thing I don't like is the mesh filter, too much sediments comes though and very hard to dump out the wet grounds. Had to pound and pound to get them out, then there was still some in the very bottom. I changed to paper and it filters out more of the sediment from the coffee and I can just lift out and toss. Plus the coffee isn't tasting as bitter.

I purchased this coffee maker because of the KitchenAid brand, thinking it would be a quality product. I was disappointed that after only 7 months, it stopped working. I would not recommend this coffee maker.

I haven’t even owned this coffee maker a year and it has already quit. I bought it thinking kitchen aid was a good brand. Will not be purchasing another one from this company.
