Dissapointed:( If you're looking for a hair clip that can hold all your hair up without needing a hair tie for support, this isn't the right choice. The only positive is that, despite their large size, these clips are lightweight. However, even with their lightness, they fail to keep your hair in place. Within just two minutes, the clip slips down completely and not in an effortlessly messy, chic way.

I bought these because they were large clips. They’re definitely large in height but the width is small so it does not hold anything at all! The claws are very dull and don’t actually grasp anything and these do not work for someone who has a lot of hair. I tried using it half up for my hair and even that didn’t hold my hair and it’s too long to wear it comfortably that way. Really disappointed.

I have thick, long and oily hair - admittedly a terrible combination for getting hair clips to stay in place, because they always end up sliding out. Unfortunately, this was no better. Within 30 minutes, it had sagged like any other clip. The length is longer than average, but very thin - I feel a wider body would have made it so much better. The spine also requires a decent amount of strength to open. This clip would probably be fab for wavy/curly hair types, but not for me. I guess my search continues for the perfect clip :(

The spine requires extra strength from you in order to open the clip up. If the spine was wider, that would be more comfortable when trying to clip your hair with it. I ended up stashing these away because they were no good and just hard to use.

The size is decent length wise, However if you have super long and thick hair like I do, these aren’t going to provide a good hold as the claw is more shallow of a grip. Good quality, cute product. Would be good if you had medium/thinner hair. Bummed these don’t work for me.
