I finally got around to purchasing this product after eyeing it for years. I have a lot of very fine hair, and I’ve recently noticed my hair has become too used to my Ouai products over the past few months. This shampoo bar + conditioner combo instantly restored my shine and moisture, plus it’s way more sustainable & cost effective for a better result. Smells nice & my hair is very happy!!

This is the only bar shampoo/conditioner I’ve ever used, so I’m not sure if it’s all bar shampoos/comditioners or just the kitsch rice water, but this has been a miracle product for me. I’ve always lost tons of hair in the shower (for as long as I can remember), and just thought it was my normal. However after menopause it got even worse to where I was losing fist-fulls of hair every wash day, and I was on the verge of talking to my doctor about it. On a whim, before a very long overseas trip and due to luggage space/weight limits, I decided to give bar shampoo and conditioner a try. That was 3 kitsch bars ago and my hair has stopped falling out! I still have a hard time believing it. Obviously, some hair still comes out on wash day as is normal, but I’m no longer losing fist-fulls of hair. Not only that, but my wavy hair is so much softer and easier to manage. I know every product won’t work for everyone, but I highly recommend at least giving this product a try.

I used this product for about a week. It stripped my natural oils away and lost more hair compared to the usual shampoo I have used. I'm disappointed because the bar is a lot smaller than I imagined. Overall, it's expensive and doesn't last long. You can find cheaper brands that's rice water based or you can even use your own rice water @ home.

I’m glad it worked out for everyone else. However for me, from the very first wash, I was not impressed. It made my hair so lifeless! It flatten my hair, made it feel kinda greasy rather than moisturized. Only good thing about this was that it lathers up pretty well. I bought the shampoo, conditioner and the soap holder, and ended up returning it all. Not worth keeping!

This shampoo bar lathers beautifully and has a gentle inviting scent, rinses clean. My hair has a sheen like it never had before. I don't wake up with greasy hair. I notice I can go a day without washing and it looks clean. The bar lasts months as it says. Quality product.

It’s helped strengthen my hair and look a lot healthier. I stopped using conditioner and just use the leave in conditioner with this shampoo and so i know it’s definitely helped. BUT if I don’t rinse it off completely and it sits overnight, It will take a few strands of hair with it. Should I be worried and stop using it. should I go back go go using conditioner?

So after struggling with hair loss due to menopause, I decided to give this product a try. I am currently using the rice water shampoo and conditioning bars. I can't tell if any new hair growth had happened yet, but HAVE noticed much less hair loss after washing/conditioning and brushing. That is a good sign. Will finish up bars and see where I am at that point. Crossing my fingers for some positive results. Product is easy to use and love the net holders for storage after use.
