They are quick and easy to prepare and are full of nutritious and great tasting ingredients. The cooking instructions are simple to follow. I really enjoy the soft and crunchy taste. They are great for breakfast, or any meal really. I will definitely be making them a part of every grocery shopping list.

They're convenient, delicious, and pack of nutritional punch that makes them stand out from other frozen waffles. What I appreciate most is the protein content. Each serving has enough protein to actually keep me full well into the morning. You just pop them in the toaster, and did a couple of minutes, you've got a warm, filling breakfast.

I enjoyed it more than other frozen waffles I’ve had- it was thick, fluffy, and flavorful! It tastes great by itself without any toppings. The protein left me full and satisfied throughout the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried these waffles with almond hazelnut butter on top and it was delicious. The waffles air fry really well so I recommend cooking them that way. I love how much protein is in them and that they don’t taste like a chalky protein shake. The only heads up I have is they are a bit salty. I would buy these again.

These are great waffles! I eat them with greek yogurt and jam, but can also munch on one plain too! Good protein and tasty.

Even my 6 year old rejected the waffles when the recipe changed. We normally buy the chocolate chip waffles but the new recipe leaves a bland, grainy texture with literally no chocolate chips in sight. What a big mistake! We bought for two years but will have to find something else now sadly

I really enjoy these! I try to get a certain amount of protein a day and these help. Great amount of protein while keeping a good taste.

Very low protein for the amount of calories. It's marketed as a "High protein" breakfast. but it would be better as a high carb/highcal supplement to a low protein diet.

Another runner recommended these waffles because they are healthier than Eggo waffles and have protein - so glad she did! I eat these before a long run and they are the right amount of calories, easy to digest, and i can eat them when driving to my run location. Oh, and they are delicious!

Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Great flavor, too! I like that they have 12 grams of protein.

These are actually the only waffles that I buy. Sample “Cut Waffle” Formula (Per 8 waffles) 1 cup Kodiak mix 1 scoop whey (vanilla, chocolate, etc.) 1 egg (or 2 egg whites) 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened) 1/2 banana or 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce Non-stick spray for waffle iron Macros per waffle: ~70 kcal ~6g protein ~2g fat ~7g carbs

I recently purchased the Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk & Vanilla Waffles from the Target on East Colonial on June 10, 2025. Upon opening the sealed package, I was shocked to find that one of the waffles had a bite taken out of it and was placed back inside the packaging. This raises serious concerns about product safety and quality control. I have reported this issue to Kodiak Cakes customer service and am awaiting their response. I hope this matter is addressed promptly to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I personally can’t eat these as I’m gluten intolerant, but I’ve been buying these for my partner for years. He eats them every single day with peanut butter for breakfast. He’s tried other brands to save some money, but keeps coming back to Kodiak Cakes.

Bought the chocolate chip waffles. They are a joke. Some in the box had no chocolate chips at all. The rest had only 1 or 2. You can't call these chocolate chip waffles.

I will never buy these again and will probably throw out the remaining ones. Like eating cardboard. Tasteless and much too dense for waffles. Poorly formed waffles from the production line, which makes me question ALL aspects of Kodiak quality control. Apparently the current ingredients list (2025) has many changes compared to the pre-recall version. Truly horrendous.

I was so pleased to see the Buttermilk & Vanilla Power Waffles back in stock at some of my local stores after the recall. However, I am completely disappointed with the taste, texture and the depreciated list of ingredients in the waffles (the first ingredient is now listed as "water" and there are further changes in the ingredients that I don't like). They are not anywhere near the quality of the waffles before the recall. If I were to compare them to another waffle, I would consider them to be somewhere between a generic waffle and Eggos. Yuck. Additionally, at least two of the waffles in the box were not completely formed (running out of batter in production?) About a year ago, I noticed a size change in the waffles. Though I was not pleased, I continued to buy the waffles. They are no longer worth the extra money. I am not sure what caused the change of ingredients, but I will not be purchasing these waffles again. It is unfortunate, because I regularly purchase 3-4 boxes of various Kodiak waffles every two weeks. Also, someone needs to update this website regarding the ingredients in the waffle because it is no longer correct. The "terms & conditions" at the bottom of this entry form are not readable no matter how I try to look at it. It is fogged over and is barely able to be read.

My wife is an elementary and loves these waffles. They are her go to breakfast choice 6 days a week. We highly recommend them.
