I followed the directions exacty. When finished baking they smelled and looked great. After cooling I tried a few bites and thought maybe I forgot to add something, like sugar. These are really lacking in flavor and sweetness. If I were to buy these again I would add at least a cup of sugar.

These were edible, but I wouldn’t purchase these again. They had a weird artificial after taste to them that I didn’t like. They were also super dry even though I cooked them for less time than called for. My husband who eats anything said they were disgusting and refused to eat more than one. It’s a shame because they were super easy to make and I love regular Kodiak Cakes.

These are so good. We add a few chocolate chips. We freeze the leftovers and reheat them in a paper towel for a quick breakfast or snack. I always try to have some in the freezer.
