Description
As you probably already know, curly hair naturally lacks moisture, so let's make sure your shampoo isn't drying it out further! This formula gently cleanses without stripping, has good slip and creates a super rich lather to make wash day a pleasure.
How to: 1. Thoroughly wet your hair, then create partings with the pointed tip and apply shampoo directly to your scalp. 2. Massage in to create a rich lather. Add a little water if needed. 3. Rinse well before conditioning. Tip: Use the pointed tip to get your shampoo right where you need it most… at the scalp!
Contains Curl Hydration Complex, our signature moisture-infusing complex designed to hydrate, reduce frizz and encourage coils while adding shine and protecting against environmental stressors and color fade.
free of drying alcohols, sulfates, parabens, phthalates + silicones cruelty free | color + keratin safe | vegan

Smelled good, like the idea of the nozzle, BUT causes scalp sensitivity. Gave me itchy scalp, dandruff, and some acne (on my scalp). I kept on thinking it was something else, but once I started using a different shampoo all the issues abated.

So I bought these (CURL Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-In Conditioner) because someone recommended it to me. I ended up buying them and then reading the reviews before I tried it and was so nervous because of all the negative comments. First of all, the smell is not that bad. It's not the floral smell that women are use to but it's also not nauseating. People's comments got me worried but the smell is fine. No its not my favorite but it's fine. Second, after shampoo and conditioned my hair felt clean and fresh. Finally, the leave-in conditioner is a spray cream and at first I thought for sure this will not suffer my curls. They are definitely going to be frizzy bit lo and behold my curls (after air drying) are fabulous. See pictures below. I totally recommend these products!

Used this product with the corresponding curly conditioner. My scalp is greasy and I can feel the residue in my hair. I panicked and thought it was a hormonal issue, then used a different line of products and the issue went away immediately.

I try to avoid shampoo as much as possible, since I have a 4C hair type - average shampoo just strips it wayyyy too much (even weekly). This shampoo is great at keeping hydration while still cleansing my hair & scalp. Great price too!!

This just doesn't live up to the hype. My curly hair was dry and frizzy and my scalp got oily very quickly. I had bad hair for the entire month I tried this out. Only giving it an extra star because I liked the soft fragrance.

I have wavy hair that might be curly if I put in the effort. This shampoo lathers sooooo nicely once you get it a little wet. My hair has never felt cleaner and it’s so soft when it dries.

Dry and irritated scalp

Packaging is nice and looks great. The shampoo really messed up my scalp by making it very dry and itchy. My hair looked like it had more volume but my curls were not very defined. My scalp felt itchy and irritated for days after using this even after going back to my Prose shampoo. Such a shame as I really wanted to like this product. What ingredient is causing so many reviewers to say it irritated their scalp I wonder.

This shampoo has the most disgusting smell. Literally chemically yet still almost smells like a hamster cage, I had to rewash my hair with a different shampoo it was so bad. I’m definitely not over sensitive to shampoo smells, but something was really off with this smell!

The scent is intoxicating but maybe too strong for those who prefer to keep scents unnoticeable to others. (Healthcare folks, beware.) The lovely smell is why I gave a second star. What I found disappointing about this shampoo is that it is *so* drying. My hair was floofy after the first wash, so I added more leave-in conditioner and oil on the ends than I typically do after the second wash. What I’ve ended up with, one day post-wash, is greasy ends and a scalp so dry my shoulders look like it snowed. I’d hoped for a shampoo that would remove buildup without stripping all of the moisture out of my scalp and hair; I suppose my search continues.

This shampoo and conditioner works amazingly for my thick, curly hair! I’ve been using it for a few months now, and my hair has been moisturized & tame! I definitely recommend it if you have curly hair and are searching for the right product (and you can’t beat the price, considering how expensive curly hair products can be!)

So I originally purchased at ulta, purchased here since ya know easier and convenient... it wasn't until my second batch of the shamp & condit i started to noticed a significant difference. I knew the packaging was slightly off from my ulta purchase, didnt think much of it and then up until recently I thought i was just crazy and losing my hair. TURNS OUT this is very common within this brand. Do not purchase. Go back to ulta and buy the expensive stuff. I have fine red curly hair that isnt colored. I shouldnt have this much breakage every day. Just dont waste your time. Pic is from ONE brush the shower...

Quite literally the worst curl product I think I’ve ever tried and I’ve been trying curl products for 20 some years lol. My hair is crazy frizzy and dry now. Had to put it up in a bun after it dried after my shower.

If your goal is having a bald head, use this product. I lost an obscene amount of hair, I’m talking clumps every time I washed. I very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated this time. DON’T USE! You’ve been warned.
