The first swipe has pigment but then it fades as you use it, I’m not sure how to get pigment to stay on the tips of the brushes to use it properly. It’s not working well for me but maybe other people are having better luck?

I only gave three stars because the product itself is good, but the mechanical pencil is not reliable. You can’t shake it or travel with it, otherwise it makes a mess. I really wish they would fix this problem with the pencil. Other than that, I really like the formula—the color is wonderful, very natural, and just perfect. The only downside is that the pencil definitely leaks.

This is not for thin brows. Color was the right match but the double pen that is supposed to make a brush stroke looks very drawn on and messy with a thin brow.

My eyebrows have been one of my biggest insecurities. They are blonde and very sparse. I have tried loads of products in search of something to create a natural looking brow. This definitely did the trick! I brush a little powder on before I apply, it doesn't work as well on an oily base. I've been using it for months and have purchased twice.

This is the BEST brow marker I’ve ever found. I have super thin brows, most of my brow area is bald. With this I can give myself brows that look real and not painted on. It so accurately draws in the hairs that this rivals microblading. It also has great staying power and doesn’t smudge. I hope they never stop making this pen.

I have dark blond hair. I was worried the blond would be too light but people said it’s too dark. It’s brown. There is nothing blond about it. People laughed when I put it on. Not ok

I really loved this pen when I initially purchased the product. Unfortunately, about 6 weeks in, the cap started shooting off. The only way to keep the cap on (and keep the product from drying out) is to tape it down. I saw some discussion about this online that suggested if a cap starts “shooting off,” that might indicate some sort of bacterial/yeast growth contributing to pressure buildup. When I reached out to L’Oreal about this, they never responded to my message. I hope that the product isn’t compromised and it’s just a packaging issue, but I don’t know!

I like that this allows you to make very thin, hairlike lines. The reason I docked a star is because I got this in “light brunette” which looked very orange/red on my fair skin. I definitely need more of a true brown color. This color may have worked for someone with a lot of red tones in the hair. The red in the eyebrow pen may also have been less obvious if my skin weren’t so fair. Either way, I wouldn’t say it’s a true brown shade because the red tones were too prominent.

I love this brow pen. I would go as far as to say it is my favorite out of all the many many kinds I have purchased. initially I thought the 2 prongs wouldn’t be enough, but it is better in that it looks more natural since the 3-4 pronged ones just end up looking like one big marker. I hope they continue to make this product as I will continue to buy it, even compared to the expensive department store brands I have bought.

Love this pen, however, I giving it 4 stars based on how dark the blond is. I am a natural blond & I’ve tried both blond & dark blond & BOTH are too dark. Wish they’d lighten up the blond color a bit more.
