The only drawback with this is if you use other hair products this product does drip with applications of other hair products you should apply them first because With everything considered about this I would definitely purchase this item in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L’Oréal Magic Root Cover Up, Black is amazing!! I love how effortlessly and quickly I can cover up some of my gray hair. Obviously like any hair coloring product, it’s never going to cover all your gray hairs 100% but it covers enough to give me a boost of confidence when I become self conscious of my wiry gray hair. I only gave it 4 starts because it takes alot longer to dry than a minute like the directions say. It’s more like a hour to let it completely dry. Other than that, it’s a terrific product.

I would possibly mix this shade with a darker one, a soft black, to get the coverage I need. The packaging is fine and I don't detect a scent. The only drawback is the transfer of color and it's rather matte and dry feeling.

The Dark Blonde shade blends perfectly—no orange, no chalky finish. Just quick, natural-looking coverage that lasts until I shampoo. It has a subtle, pleasant scent as well! Fast, easy, doesn’t feel sticky, and saves me from emergency salon trips. 10/10 recommend if you’re between blonde and light brown! Tip: make sure to use a dark towel on shoulders before spraying!

I shook up the can, removed the top, parted my hair and held the can 4-6 inches away from the area I wanted to apply the spray to. It was easy and provides a quick fix for exposed roots.

This does kind of feel like a voluming spray and leaves a slightly sticky residue. It will turn your hands brown if you touch it. Also, it washes out easily. I would use this in between hair coloring if needed.

The application literally takes seconds and the excellent coverage lasts all day even when I get hot and sweaty. 10/10 highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dark brown is a wonderful shade for dark to deepest Brown and even black hair. It covered my regrowth, was it easy to apply and dried down quickly. I would suggest to spray and then leave your hair alone for about 3 to 5 minutes so that there is no chance of a color transfer.

Thankfully I don’t have a lot of grays yet, but the ones I do have are very noticeable because of the color and texture of my hair. Coverage is there but is hard to cover all the strands equally. Color might have been a tad darker but nothing major. I liked that the packaging is travel friendly and is ammonia-free, peroxide-free, and no synthetics dyes. Just wished it lasted longer than 1 shampoo and result was better. (See attached before and after pics.) I recommend it for those that don’t have the time nor the patience to wait on hair dyes. Maybe for those running late going on a date and in need of a quick fix on those stubborn grays, this will do the trick :).

Unfortunately, it’s a no from me. I had to use A TON of product to cover the grays, so it left my hair/scalp feeling wet. I didn’t notice a strong scent, so that’s a plus. The sprayer itself is okay. I felt like it sprayed nice and even, although it did leave little black dots of color on my bathroom sink and counter top. I first tried applying short little bursts but found it more effective to go back and forth in a sweeping motion. This product may be cost effective, but it just didn’t do it for me, so I’ll stick with my pricey but good root coverup instead.

Magic Root, root cover up in medium brown was a lifesaver when I was a few days out from my hair appointment and didn’t want to show up to a dinner party with my greys. I swept my hair up in a bun and sprayed away the grey! I found the application easy and if I had spray get on my face or ears it wiped away easy with a makeup wipe. Also, it would make a great faux freckle if you sprayed it in a liner brush and dotted your freckles on!

It left a terrible stiff chalky feeling in my hair. It also had to much pigment on my scalp and made the coverage look extremely fake. The shade was fine and there wasn’t a terrible scent but that’s about all I can say nice about it.
