Best tub!
I love this tub. I have a 99th percentile large baby which might be why it works so well for us. It’s so nice to not have to fill an entire bathtub. My now almost 10 month old still uses this tub without the seat attachment and it’s such a great size. So easy to clean and drain. I keep it inside the shower so I just lift the plug and let the water drain, plus all the bath time splashes can stay in our shower and not make a mess all over the bathroom.

Too big for a newborn
Got this as a gift and put our newborn in it and let me say it way too big for my newborn. She would slip down and around so my wife and i had to do this together. My wife held her neck while I wiped her down. I would not use this for a newborn.

Beauty isn’t always practice or safe
If I could send this back I would. I have twins and bath time is a challenge. I can’t leave one in this tub and the other in the bathroom. The baby in the tub slips all over the place. I have to hold her and bath her at the same time. She will slip under the water. Even with the smallest amount of water they slip and role over. Maybe best suitable for toddlers. One day a baby is going to get hurt. They need to pull this product from the shelves.

Beauty doesnt always mean the safest
My infant slips all over this tub. And in the middle of her back there is a red spot when I get her out. So I am not sure what that is from. Even with the smallest amount of water she slips all over. I wish I had taken it back. It’s not worth the money. I thought I would be able to use it and it just sits now. Since I opened it and threw everything away.

Ideal for 6 months and up
Love the whole idea of this tub, but it’s not practical. I definitely don’t recommend it for newborns or babies that still can’t sit up. When I put my newborn in the tub I have to hold her with one hand and bath her with the other, she slides down and goes to the side if I let go of her.

Dangerous for babies
While it looks nice, the functionality is poor. Not designed for 0-6 months. Just tried it again for my 7 month old and we moved back to the other tub. This product offers little support which makes it dangerous for bath time. It’s essentially a slippery tub that they can easily slide under water or flip and drown. Wouldn’t recommend. Scary to use, maybe will try again as a toddler

Does not work for newborns or young babies!!
I bought this for my newborn, who is now 4. 5 months old. I don’t think this is suitable for young babies. You can’t let them sit in the bath unsupported, and your hand has to ALWAYS be placed under baby’s head/neck to make sure they don’t slide down. Even as my child gaining head control, the bum doesn’t fit in the seat and the baby floats up and above the seat. This makes bath time for a solo parent extremely challenging! Overall so disappointed! Especially since there are baths out there that fully support the baby. Would not recommend!

Love this for my newborn!
My son loves his baths! I think the support of the Lalo tub for the newborns with the seat makes a huge difference. He looks so comfortable getting his baby spa day! The perk for me is that he gets to grow with his tub. I appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the design so much.

If I could give this 0 stars I would.
I’m only reviewing so others know. This tub is bulky, awkward, heavy, and inconvenient to store and put away. It is also dangerous. My infant would not stop slipping over the lip. it’s frustrating. Lastly, when you take the insert out and use it as a small sit up tub, it is slippery and if your baby slips, there is an unnecessarily pointy and hard tub lip. Genuinely wish I had gone with something else, but it was pretty.

Do not buy!
Skip this! It’s esthetically pleasing but this bath tub is not safe for infants. Baby is not supported well and is constantly slipping off the small lip where their bottom goes. My husband has to hold baby in place while I wash quickly. The tub slides all over the bottom of the bath tub and has no grip. I wish I had registered for a different bath and am now stuck with this one.

Disappointed
It’s beautiful and would be great aside from my constant worry that my daughter could be in pain from the large plastic piece that sticks up in the middle of the tub. It looks like this has been changed more recently but unfortunately we were gifted this one. Was so excited to use but now pretty bummed.

Redesign flaw and design
Highly unsatisfied as the product was redesigned. My daughter was a premie and enjoyed the bath until she was bigger. The tub started to get really uncomfortable with the center bar. I noticed it was redesigned and likely due to others complaining of comfort as well. The center bar left red marks on her bottom after every bath and she would arch to get away from it. The company would only offer a discount to purchase a new tub, instead of an exchange for the new design. This is just bad business as it correlates directly with a baby and comfort levels and inconsistency with others appearing to get exchanges for the new design.

Great Tub
I bought the original version of this tub because I loved that it was designed for different stages/ages and that it could be used as a toy or sensory bin once the baby grew out of it. I was also very surprised at how heavy duty the tub was. The only negative was the pole in the center was uncomfortable for my little one. So, I was really excited when I noticed that they redesigned the product. I was able to get the new version of the product and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s easier to wash my baby and seems a lot more comfortable for her. I highly recommend this tub!

Too slippery, my baby slips around in it and can’t use it because of that. Don’t think it’s designed well for that reason.
