[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these every year in my prek class to teach my students the name of the feelings or emotions so they are able to express their feelings in class. The mirrors show them what the feelings/emotions Look like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the idea behind the All About Me Mirror Boards! It encourages children to really observe and think about themselves and others in different ways. My son loved comparing his drawing to the others and seeing the features that make us unique and those that make us the same. I have one big problem with this product though, that's a deal breaker that would make me (at the moment) not recommended it to anyone. The drawings were stuck on it after we were done using it one time. We used Expo markers and one IKEA dry erase marker to draw our faces for reference . The faces were on the boards for probably no more than 15 minutes. When it came time to wipe them off, I used my normal dry erase marker eraser and that got some of it off, but you could still see outlines. Then since nothing else was coming off, I sprayed a little whiteboard cleaner on a paper towel and tried to fully clean it. Once I did that, a little bit more came off, but the boards are permanently stained with the old drawings. I'm super disappointed that this product ended up being a one time use thing for me. Needless to say, I wouldn't ever spend money on something like this that I would only get one use out of. So my suggestion for the company would be to either improve the quality of the whiteboard, or include markers with the product that won't stain the boards. Overall I love the concept of this and I think this could be a great product with some adjustments. *I received this product for free in exchange for my review. The statements in this review are 100% authentic and my opinion alone.*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son just turned 3 yesterday and although he loved looking at himself in the mirror, he didn't really understand the concept or instructions. He also doesn't really know how to draw well enough to fully use this toy for its intended purpose. For slightly older children, I think this would be a great learning toy. It is thought provoking, could boost self esteem and encourage to dream for their future. Although I think this product can be useful, I think the recommended age requirement may be a little too young.
Its a neat way to learn about the anatomy of the face

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let my 6 year old use them. He had fun looking at himself in the mirror and trying to draw what he was seeing. Its a good tool to learn about the facial features. I think the ideal use for this product would be in a classroom setting to teach children about what our faces look like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this set of handheld mirror/white board combos to be a fun and educational experience with my child. They can draw what they see, which teaches them so many things in itself. The product is well made, as is expected from Educational Insights. The only con is that the novelty of this item does wear off quickly and unless used in a physical classroom, isn't really worth the money spent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive this product, only to be extremely dissatisfied. The mirror is a cheap material that contorts your reflection. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't come with a dry erase marker. The point of it is to look at your reflection and then flip it to draw what you saw. How do you draw with no pens?
Very fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old and 2 year old loved these mirrors (and honestly, I did too). Each mirror gives you a closer look. On the back, you are able to use a dry erase marker and draw in the face template! Even their Dad was enjoying himself playing around with them. And as an unexpected bonus, I can go get them and use them when I want to put on a bit of makeup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved this product for about 10 minutes and then got bored with it. It was definitely thought provoking and helped them be artistic but they got bored drawing themselves over and over. We tried to have them draw each other but that didn't hold their attention either. It might be helpful to include ideas of things they can draw, like make a funny face or close your eyes. I probably wouldn't recommend this product to friends or family unless it got an upgrade.
Great memory and fine motor practice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mirror is a thin reflective sticker, but that is to be expected with toys for young kids. They were a hit with both my almost 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old. They had a blast making faces and trying to draw them. We have two more children joining us this weekend so I look forward to trying this with all of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the mirror boards are a good idea. They are easy to do. An older toddler will get the point of them quickly. It's a good group activity when there's multiple kids using at once. They don't seem to be very durable, but mine are still holding strong after a week and a half. Cleaning it up is easy to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoy playing with these mirrors . They don't seem super durable and one of them actually came damaged. I did use them to work on colors and emotions with my kids. Fun for imagination playing. I would recommend it as a toy but not really for educational purposes.
Should include a marker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get these for my 3 year old. He helped me open up the box and remove the film from the mirrors. I explained to him what we were going to use them for and he was excited to draw what he saw in the mirror. Unfortunately I don't have dry erase markers on hand. I would have expected that something like this would come with even a mini marker. So I had to quickly backtrack. We ended up just acting out different emotions in the mirror. He liked it but it would have been better with a marker to do the other activities. I will go purchase a marker. I think it should have a marker included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the plastic screen protector was extremely difficult to remove. My 4 year old liked it at first but lost interest quickly. Might be better for older children. Mirror isn't the greatest, but it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive these mirrors since my two daughters, ages 4 and 2, are obsessed with my handheld mirror I use on a daily basis. These mirrors are cheaply made and very distorted to the point that my daughter said it was blurry and she couldn't see herself. We did color on the back, but that too was rather cheaply made of paper and not a normal dry erase board. We will use these for princess/dress up time but overall disappointed as other toys and activities by Learning Resources have been phenomenal in quality and use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied for this as a gift to my children. They were mesmerized by them at first but after a few minutes they became frustrated with trying to draw pictures and flipping the mirrors. Also it did not come with the dry erase markers to use with the boards so I had to go buy some for them to even use the product. Which in turn left them upset when we first tried to play with them. I think they are a good learning method and my kids enjoyed them. I think it would be better marketing if it came with everything needed to play with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is an amazing tool for children of all ages. You look at the mirror and flip it over and draw what you seen in the mirror. It brings out character and allows children (adults, too) to see themselves in a new way. My children loved this activity. Especially my three year old. This is an amazing tool and I cannot wait to use it in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a good concept. But, it is just too simple. You could easily just have kids look in a regular mirror and draw their faces or have them pair up and draw the features of their partner. I got these for free. I wouldn't pay for these.
