I got one for my kiddo and she loves the Stars it puts all over the room , there's also a night light and a bunch of great sounds. She's been in her room all night , every night since and my back is happy LOL.

The stars projector and the under lamp light are about the only things that work. The buttons don't usually work the first time you push them. The sound never works and on the occasion it does, It will not turn off. Luckily unplugging it shuts it off.

I wanted to love this. So cute and such a good idea to have sound and light in one. But there are some issues. Often, the buttons don’t work the first time I press them. Also, the bubbling brook sound, my toddlers favorite, has some weird sound overlayed, like a demon talking. It is very distracting a disappointment because the same one on my Go Travel machine is perfect. I was really hoping to have found one I didn’t have to constantly recharge, but back to the drawing board.

When I bought this....I really loved it. After 1 use ....it didn't always turn on....couldn't figure out the trick to it. Sometimes I got it sometimes I doesn't even turn on.....thats after 3 nights. Disappointed for sure....

I love that it has so many features in one - night light, stars, and sound. Originally I got a travel sound machine, which was excellent, but this turtle solves the things I was starting to be annoyed by, but retains everything I love. I never have to charge it, because it is always plugged in. I don’t need a second nightlight. And it has the same great sounds! Much better than other companies.

This machine is cute and has a lot of features. However, it's a surprise each night which features will work. Sometimes the sound comes on, but not the lights. Sometimes the night light works, but not the stars, etc. Sometimes it won't turn off using the power button. Luckily unplugging the machine and plugging it back on usually helps, but it's still annoying.

This Soundscene Sound Machine is wonderful. It has so many options for noise. Our little one didn't like some of the noises, but there were so many options that we found the perfect one for her. The night light is great to check in on her in the middle of the night and it is not to bright, so her sleep is not disturbed. I also liked that it can grow with her. There are many different light constellation options to use in later years!

My four year old so far loves this sound machine: has white noise, projector, and night light. I have to agree with the other review about it not having a charger outlet end. With it having just the usb port, I thought I could charge it and my child could use it on the top bunk. Instead it has to remain plugged in all night, which seems odd it not having the house plug in end. I had hoped to avoid a cord. However, last night, I noticed the turtle turned off. I thought this machine could run all night plugged in and I will have to investigate, perhaps the timer function was hit. We purchased this as we have a newborn and wanted something portable and fun to help drown out the crying at night for our four year old. We have other marpac sound machines and really like them and have purchased some for gifts as well. I overlooked the fact it had to remain plugged in and so am a little disappointed in that but otherwise it is a cute sound machine.

I brought this little turtle for my spare bedroom (the little's room), which I turned into a grandchildren's destination. The turtle was a great investment. I purchased my first sound machine over 35 years ago from this same company (abet the original company name), and it still works and is presently being used by one of my grown daughter's in her counseling room. This little turtle works even better than the original as it has the original white noise, an array of sounds and music you can choose from, a night light and the ceiling projection of stars. Probably the only thing I will not utilize is the red light for the stars (too scary, because kids think of fire, perhaps in the future you can change red to yellow, white or purple), but I will use the blue and green colors. I also wish it came with a charger plug (the cord has a USB port on the outlet side, but no charger). These are the only two reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. However, if I needed another one or if I have a baby shower to attend, I would and will definitely buy this little turtle again.
