I absolutely love the Learning Resources Math Link Cubes set for my kindergartner. These cubes have been an excellent teaching tool for basic math problems within our curriculum. Not only are they helpful for addition and subtraction, but their bright, vibrant colors also captivate my daughter's interest. The set includes various cards with activities designed to enhance basic math skills, patterns, and critical thinking. These cards are dry-erase friendly, allowing my child to practice problems, erase them, and try again easily. My daughter, who is quite the girly girl, adores the princess theme throughout the set and gets excited when it is incorporated into learning activities.

There are only fifteen cards included, which is really disappointing. If you want to be able to work on a particular skill, for instance subtraction, there are only a couple of activity cards to work with, which is so limited when a child is trying to learn or get into an activity. I can't believe all of these are so highly rated when there is just not that much included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a sample product to review. I have a high energy 4.5 year old who does not enjoy sitting still for anything, especially not to learn something new which he may not be good at the first time. He avoids traditional pre-k work books/activities because of this so we have not made much progress so far with school preparedness. The cubes were something he gravitated to on his own however because they were familiar & he used them for building, color sorting, etc. This was just one of his building sets in his mind, so it was low anxiety. The cards that come in the package are great and start with achievable activities that increase in difficulty. We made it a family "game" to do 1-3 card challenges each day. Overall, these are sturdy, colorful and accessible well disguised learning tools that will help with developing math skills.

I really liked this set for my five-year old. The pieces are sturdy and easy to snap together. Great for reviewing many math concepts like base ten, addition, subtraction, multiplication pictorial representation, and word problems.

These far exceeded my expectation. We got these and the counting bears. My preschoolers loved that these could be connected, the activity sheets are fun for all ages, and the colors are vibrant. They also feel good in your hands. Highly recommend!!

These blocks are so much more durable and creatively fun than the cubes I remember using in 1st grade. My children have enjoyed doing the included activities on laminated cards and have also really used their imagination. We've already put hours of time into patterns and building structures, practicing counting ! I am definitely considering purchase of a few more sets so each child has more to use !

As soon is the box arrived he opened it up and got acclimated with the cubes and instructions. It kept him busy for about an hour, and his little brother joined him. I already had a basic set of MathLink cubes on my supply list for this upcoming school year, but I like this set because of the different activity ideas it includes.
