This LEGO architecture set of the New York skyline offers a rewarding building experience with iconic structures like the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center. Guests appreciate the clear instructions and the overall aesthetic appeal of the completed model. However, some find the design repetitive and the Statue of Liberty figure underwhelming. Despite minor challenges, it serves as a great display piece and a fun project for both adults and older children.

Perfect NYC Keepsake
This is a Christmas present for our son so we don't know how he'll like it yet, but he loves Legos and this is the perfect reminder of our recent NYC trip so we're sure he'll love it!

Left my Heart in NYC
So much fun building this set. Lived in NYC many years ago and it was great to sort through the memories while building. Price is a bit high but I am glad I bought it. Each Lego brick landmark is as special and as unique as the actual landmark. Looks amazing 💟

An interesting build.
As an eraly (2016) set in the Architecture series, I was pleasantly surprised at the building techniques used. While some other iconic buildings could have been featured such as the U.N. Building, Brooklyn Bridge, and Central Park, Madison Square Garden, or Union Station - given the space limitations this set does justice. And one can always tap into creativity to expand further. Overall a really nice set to display.

Practical Architecture Set
Meat and potatoes Lego set that is practical. It's not a catchy as some others, maybe a slightly drab color scheme. Although, if you're going for authenticity, there's nothing Lego can do about color (do better NYC! jk). Eitherway, nice addition to my collection of Architecture sets to which I've actually visited.

Simple and Fun Build
Firstly, let me just say that the reviews that claim there are design flaws in this set are not accurate. If you follow the instructions this is a simple to build kit that is solidly build. I enjoyed building this as it didn't take long and the end result is unmistakably the New York skyline. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because it is a bit pricey and the design is a bit dull when compared to some of the other architecture sets (especially the brilliant San Francisco one).

Skyscrapers
I liked building the skyline and seeing the different sizes of the buildings relative to each other. I would have liked it larger overall and some of the buildings would easily fall.

So much fun!
This build took me about 4 hours all together. I had to take breaks in between sessions because I get distracted easily but overall this set was very good for the value. I paid $33 for this set and I would say that it was worth it. It was relativley easy too use. The quality is great just like every other Lego set.

Great purchase
We bought this for my grandson after visiting New York. He loved it! It didn’t take him too long to put together but it was much bigger than the small postcard lego sets of cities. A great purchase!

Both good and bad
The set itself looks great when built however building is where the issue lays, the bags aren’t numbered which makes the building process awful, you basically have to empty all bags out across a big surface to actually build this. Whoever thought this was a good idea to not use numbered bags clearly didn’t actually try to build this which is a shame as the set shows off all the great buildings of new york

First Architecture Set
I have been spending a lot of time building/playing with Lego with our children. However, building Lego with small children, though rewarding in its own way, is not relaxing. That is why I decided to try this set out myself, without the kid's help. Overall, I enjoyed this set, but I do have several issues and items I can share for those contemplating trying out the Architecture line. This set was very repetitive, which, on first glance, sounds like a negative. However, I found the sorting and repetitive use of similar elements to be soothing. The limited number of colors used in this set helped to make the sorting process much simpler, but did make it a little harder to find pieces a little harder during the build. The Instruction booklet is very nicely laid out. I enjoy reading about the places which the build represents. I would have preferred if the beginning section were spread out throughout the book, with facts about each building coming right before you built that building. The instructions begin with the all black base the set rests on. This consists mostly of plates with some tiles. However, there was an interesting section with some bars towards the end of the base build that inspired me to wonder where this would be leading. Next, you build the Statue of liberty. the statue itself is represented by a sand green microfigure, which is fun, but it is small and the base is not that interestsing. After that comes the Empire State building. This structure is covered with 1x2 tan grills. It does use some interesting techniques, but it was the most repetitive part of the build. The Chrysler Building was mostly just stacked plates and jumpers, but did have a interesting top section. My biggest complaint with this building was the difficulty of disassembly. All of those stacked plates are a pain to seperate. I was underwhelmed with the Flat Iron Building. It was essentially just stacked wedge plates, but it was small and easy to complete. One World Trade Center was the most interesting part of the build. It utilized some innovative techniques to accomplish the offset structure of the various levels. Overall, I enjoyed building this set alone. It really has no "play value" as it is just a display piece. I enjoyed this build enough that I did later purchase the larger Statue of Liberty sets to go with it.

Incredible Set!
I used to be all about minifigures when it came to LEGO until I got the Statue of Liberty architecture set. Now I love the architecture series, and this set is a great addition! Totally worth the hour it took to build. There was one mistake I found but others have addressed it so I won't go into detail. I think it would be epic to see a full-scale World Trade Center set.
