The Best
Bought and built this with the grandkids on a family vacation last year. I have built lots of models with them before and since. I keep looking for another model that will be as much fun to build with the kids. Haven't found it yet. On top of which it is the best model to play with once build of Lego's models. For me it is the best Lego kit of all.

Great Addition to the Buildings Collection
Enjoyed building the ‘Museum’ and great to add to all the other buildings I have. There was 1 incorrect piece but luckily this was covered up by a column at the front door.

Just buy it.
If you want this get it. It is my favorite modular set and was very fun to build. There is three levels, which are removable so you can see the very detailed and beautiful interior. A++

First piece is incorrect already
The first piece of my set is already incorrect. The best part is I can't even just go to a store and buy this specific piece.

Excellent
This is the best set I’ve done. It’s on display by my front door, and I absolutely love showing it off to visitors. The levels open up to reveal exhibits within the building. The build is also so fun. There are hidden treasures everywhere. I wish I could build it all over again. You will love making this set.

Missing piece
I’m very disappointed that Lego didn’t include all the pieces. A single missing piece early in the build means I can’t continue building this set until the replacement arrives. Lego says this could be over a month from now. For the prices they charge, the least they could do is make sure the sets are complete

Awesome build experience
Was really positively surprised by this set; the build was great fun and nicely paced, finished product looks much better in real life than in the promo pics

I love this set!
This was an awesome set to build. It built a lot fast than I thought it would take. There are new bricks which were exciting to use, and I like how the established bricks are being used in new and exciting ways. I love the modular builds and can't wait for the next one, although I am running out of room for them....

Great set for me and the family
Had a great time building this, and my 7 and 5 year old kids (advanced builders) were also able to get in on the action. Fun for the whole family.

Looks great but impractical
By Lego standards the NHM doesn't seem to have been designed very well at all. I don't like it doesn't open up, you have to lift off each level to see inside. The back wall is fully enclosed which I find very strange as Lego usually leave an open space so you can see inside. Ultimately,an unusual miss from the Lego design team

Amazing set
This set was super fun build. Easier to build then let sets in the same series. Very sturdy and strong. Able to move with ease. Highly recommend for intermediate builders and above

Loved every second of this build
This has been one of my favourite modulars to build. All the little details inside the building, each of the exhibitions, were just a joy to put together and the end result looks really great along side my other buildings. Highly recommended

Missing piece
Love this build and all the modular sets my son has built. So disappointing that our wheel piece for the solar system model was left out and replaced with a simple white 2x6 plate. Submitted a missing piece order but need to wait about a month. My son chose to wait for the missing piece instead of proceeding with the build. His choice and I respect that. This was supposed to be a holiday break father-son activity. First time this has happened for us with Lego sets.

A bit underwhelming for its size
I have been an avid modular collector for years and have been very unimpressed by this quite anticipated build. The geometry of the building itself is pretty plain and more details could have been added to the roomy interiors. Would like to start seeing paving tiles on upper floors too in the upcoming modulars, given the overall LEGO price increase and rising building standards. I couldn't help but comparing this set to the Assembly Square, which had way more architectural variety and attention to details. My favourite part of the Museum was definitely the roof, which offers quite unique building technics, the curator's room and the big classic columns and ornated pediment, which kind of saved the day giving the straight facade a great final look. I didn't mind the colour palette, however the size of the set could have been bigger and closer to the Town Hall scale given what museums usually look like.
