Q: How often should I replace the filter?

submitted by Mags - 1 year ago

  • A: From below: A: To maintain your filter, we recommend cleaning the pre-filter (outer layer of the filter) using a soft brush or vacuum hose every 2-4 weeks. However, please do not use water or liquid to clean the filter, as trapped water particles may lead to mold growth or mildew odors. Either way, it is encouraged to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your discretion. Etekcity-Cosori-Levoit Brand expert July 10, 2025

submitted bySil - 1 year ago

  • A: The filters are typically estimated to last about 6-8 months, with their lifespan dependent on the current air quality and the frequency of unit use. It is encouraged to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your discretion.

Q: Does this air purifier remove odors?

submitted by Mom of 3 - 2 months ago

  • A: Our units feature a 3-stage filtration system, including a high-efficiency carbon filter to help remove odor particles. For best results, we recommend minimizing the source of the smell as best as possible first. The air must also pass through the filters a few times.
