LG’s interface is snappy, intuitive, and doesn’t bury you in confusing menus. The built-in apps run smoothly, and the remote makes navigating super easy. Gaming on it is super smooth. Low input lag, 120Hz, huge upgrade if you use a PS5, Xbox, or PC setup. Overall, the LG G5 83” is a premium TV that actually feels premium. If you’re debating the size or the upgrade… just do it. What impressed me most is how bright this OLED can get. Traditionally, OLEDs struggled in well-lit rooms, but LG’s Brightness Booster Max and improved heat dissipation make this panel more capable than any OLED before it. Whether you’re watching a game in daylight or a movie at night, the picture remains vibrant and consistent. For gamers, it’s a dream setup. Great bright picture with improved color represent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still can believe how slim the TV is! Newer tech means more accurate colors, lower energy consumption and brighter overall picture compared to previous generation. So LG improved in every important measurable metric. Only negative is the limited feature set with the included TV remote - which I think is a downgrade. If you have the TV connected to a A/V receiver then it won’t matter. But if you have multiple devices directly connected to the TV then the limited remote becomes a hassle.Thankfully you can use the LG app to control the TV. But the core TV feature set - displaying excellent picture - is the best so far when it comes to OLEDs.

Stunning, Delivers on Every Level
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 83” G5 OLED has completely exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is breathtaking with incredible contrast, deep blacks, and colors that look rich and natural. Its brightness easily handles my well-lit room. It’s also excellent for gaming - smooth, responsive, and absolutely immersive. The operating system runs smoothly and feels intuitive. I’ve read some reviews criticizing the remote, but honestly, I really like it. It’s comfortable to use and responsive. The only thing I’d add would be physical play/pause, forward, and rewind buttons for convenience. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this TV. It’s an absolute showcase piece and worth every penny.
