Summary of reviews
The Lodge Dutch Oven is a versatile and durable piece of cookware that is loved for its ability to cook a variety of dishes evenly and efficiently. The enamel coating makes it easy to clean and the included trivet is a bonus. However, some guests have reported issues with chipping and rusting, and there are concerns about the lid not fitting properly. The weight of the pot is also a consideration for some.

Great pan cooking stews and soups. Heavy like dutch oven should be. Beautiful color, easy to clean with no staining. Affordable alternative to pricier brands. Highly recommend for families who cook often.

Love my new cast iron Dutch oven! Heats evenly, easy to clean, and looks great. Only dwnside is the knob limit to 400 degrees, but not a big issue for me. Great value for the quality.

Great soups, stews, and roasts. Beautiful Dutch Oven, cooks beautifully. Husband loved it Xmas. Pre-seasoned, made in America since 1800s. Special gift, will be used for years.

I like the Dutch oven but it came with a trivet that was missing several rubber protectors on the trivet. Makes it wobbly when Dutch Oven is put on it.

Absolute garbage received Dutch oven with a crack down the side. The box was perfect, this was clearly shipped damaged, I read a few reviews that said 5he same, but figured they couldn’t be that much of a sbag company, but they are!

This Dutch oven has not held up over 6 months, hand washing only. The enamel is chipping on both the lid and pot and it actually cut me pretty bad when washing one night. Sadly, I can’t recommend this due to the deterioration, especially considering the price point.

Smaller than other Lodge cast iron pieces. Smooth enamel inside and out makes it easy to clean. Sturdy but heavy. Good value with free super saver.

Nice pot with trivet. The trivet was missing the rubber pieces on the bottom had to call for replacements and it was a big run around for the little rubber pieces. Great product horrible customer service.

Wobbly lid causes splattering after steam build up

Equal excitement followed by equal disappointment with this Dutch oven. Unfortunately I’ll be returning it because the lid doesn’t fit tightly, wobbles and steam splatters out. The design is flawed with 3 bumps on the lid (see close up photo). Once steam builds up, it’s constant splattering, resulting in an annoying sound and messy stove.

The inside edge of the lid is not enamled or coated and has begun to rust. I got the green one for valentines day and it's very cute, heavy but easy to clean. Ive continued using it but unfortunately it did rust after just the first time.

First order chipped out of box. Replacement looked ok so threw the packaging. First use realized cover was chipped inside. Ok, can live with that. However on first use with metal thermometer in pan to monitor oil temp, scratches show up. I was aware that metal utensils not permitted, but didn't think a thermometer would be a no go as well. Totally unacceptable inferior product coating in a pan that should last generations. Waste of money.
