Logitech G213 Gaming Backlit Keyboard with Dedicated Media Controls

The keyboard is SUB PAR..it worked fine for a couple weeks but now for some reason the space key sticks.All keyboards eventually wear out but this is ridiculous. Two WEEKS???

This is a nice keyboard, although I might slightly have preferred clicky switches. The action is nice in either case. I was looking for a replacement for an old one that had a large array of media keys, and an interim board (OEM with a computer from a few years back) became annoying (stacked madia functions on keys that needed an extra key held to work, and was hard to read. I like that this one has lighted keys so i can type in subdued lighting. I haven't looked too hard for whether the keycaps are removable (don't' want to damage it if they aren't.) I've used Logitech keyboards and mouses for many years, still my favorites.

I got chattering, double key stroking. I did RMA it.

I replaced my OLD keyboard (which I loved) with the G213 Prodigy, that I love even more. The keys are so nice, and the colors are GREAT. I'm very happy with my choice.

Though not a "gamer", I bought this keyboard because it combined both multimedia controls along with illuminated keys. The illumination can be turned on/off, and the Logitech software allows for customization of how the keys light up. I like that only the "letter" lights up, there is no glow around the base of the key. I do a lot of writing with the light dim around my desk, so the lighted keys make it easy to find the proper key "in the dark". There is a clacking sound which some might find distracting - others may like knowing that the key has been struck. My only complaint is that the palm rest is integral, and cannot be removed, so it does take up some desk space. All in all, quite happy.
