We’ll see how long these last, but at this price, I won’t be too heartbroken if they need replacing after a while, assuming they don’t get discontinued. (Please don’t!) I’m really pretty impressed as they feel very much like the Isotonic Indulgence down alternative pillows at twice the price that we have LOVED for years. Those got slightly lumpy after a while but nothing a good fluffing couldn’t handle. Unfortunately, our washing machine stalled and they sat soapy and husband put them in the dryer that way and ruined them. Now BBB seems to not have them anymore. I grabbed these on a whim when checking to see if there might be anything at Target to save me from tediously shopping for pillows all over the planet. They have the same smooshy feel as the Isotonics which nicely mimics down with a bit more loft and recoil/support. I love down, but unless it’s treated down that resists moisture like they do for camping gear, down just doesn’t hold up for the price and ends up flat and unsupportive. These are soft and fluffy but with more of a smoosh than a spring (if comparing to a regular poly fill, you should know what I mean). So far we’re loving these and hubs has thanked me twice already as we’ve been improvising with random alternatives for the last few months and these are a vast improvement. Husband thinks they’re not quite as great as he remembers our old pillows being, but I think I like them better. The old one tended to roll and I’d end up with my neck pushed up at a bad angle by morning. It might have to do with our size. He’s a big Viking of a man, and I’m petite. No complaints except maybe that a washable cover would be nice as I really don’t think it’s prudent to wash the whole pillow. It never seems to turn out well regardless of what the label says. Pillow cases don’t keep sweat or drool from getting to the pillow so I’ll probably mark the tags with our initials because husbands would likely need replacing sooner.
