  • A: It seems that allulose is not a sugar alcohol, but is a “rare sugar”. Allulose, monk fruit, and stevia do not act like regular sugars in the body, so they are not required to be on a nutrition label and are subtracted from total carbs to get net carbs.

  • A: When you are calculating carbs in foods that contain sugar alcohols (allulose), you subtract their amount along with the fiber to get the net carbs. In this case, the allulose is 10g and the fiber is 1g. So 10g plus 1g from 15g carbs is 4g net carbs. Most nutrition labels show the sugar alcohols (there are many different ones). Here they are showing them in a separate area. It is very confusing.

    Great Flavor!

    This is the first Magic Spoon variety I tried (thanks Costco) and it definitely has the flavor of Trix/Fruity Pebbles with a hint of Froot Loops. Great texture and crunch and holds up to the milk like a champ.

    The best

    I love this cereal. I was introduced to Magic spoon almost two years ago and have tried most of the flavors and fruity has remained the king of them all. Not only does the cereal taste good but with the high protein content I stay full much longer than traditional cereal. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

    Out of all the products that I received in the bundle package only this cereal was ok. Not amazing just ok. It did smell fruity like trix or fruit loops, but the flavor still doesn’t hold up to the real thing. This was the only cereal that I wouldn’t mind having again. Only because of the protein and being labeled as to being healthier than the store brand that’s full of sugar.

    Absolutely horrible flavor and caused Gastrointestinal issues almost immediately. Be aware this is whey protein and a bunch of garbage ingredients, which may be problematic for some with GI issues. Gross. Never again.
