Somehow the first box I got of these maybe a year ago was good - not great, but good. The last box rips like every time no matter how careful I am. Got rid of them

I can’t get a single one open without tearing the bag. One time even put something in the bag and it broke through the bottom. Seriously a waste of my money and of production.

Used them for hammering oreos to make an ice cream topping and they held up really well, considering I was taking a hammer to them. I have a Lomi machine and they compost really well on the bio-degradable setting. I use them for regular things too and for putting in the freezer. It's nice using them and not worrying about the end result being more plastic in the environment. I don't have any issues like other reviewers who have broken the bags when trying to open them.

High Quality Freezer Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer bags need to have high quality materials and a strong seal to keep out moisture. This product does just that and does it well. The lock feels good and watertight. I've experienced minimal freezer burn with these. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far these freezer bags have worked well. The meat doesn't have freeze burn, but the bags seem thin so I ended up using 2 bags instead of 1 for each packet of meat. I haven't been able to compost them yet, but happy I have the option.

100% Compostable Bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are 100% compostable quality bags made from plants. They are durable, strong, refrigerator and freezer safe, and BPA free. Because they are made from plants, they are not as clear as the bags you're used to. The quality is great and they can be washed and reused multiple times, and if you decide you need a new one you won't feel bad about disposing them. If you love environmentally friendly alternatives these should definitely be on your radar. Highly recommended!

Good bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are pretty good bags. They are a lot more eco friendly that big name brands. The material is different that traditional plastic. The only complaint I have is the zipper part of the bag needs a little work. It’s hard to get it sealed 100% until you’re use to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Matter's Press to Close Gallon Freezer bags are made from quality bags made from plants. They are durable, strong, refrigerator and freezer safe, and BPA free. Because they are made from plants, they are not clear not most freezer bags on the market. The with a fresh lock seal helps to protect foods from freezer burn. Also, the bags are compostable. I am very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer bags are gallon freezer bags with a fresh lock seal. There are 15 in the package and I have used them to store different food items in the freezer and they do the job. They stay sealed and are sturdy. I like the feel of the bags but what I find really great is that they are compostable. They state they will compost in soil in a matter of months and are made of plants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these to freeze a couple of items so far. One item was meat and the other item was some fresh strawberries. So far I haven't had any issues. The seem to seal well and aren't leaky. The color and texture is a little weird compared to what I am used to.

100% compostable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the idea that these bags are 100% compostable and therefore something that will break up and be good for the earth. They aren't completely transparent but easy to write on the outside of the bags listing what is inside (which I already do with my current brand) Easy to close and stay closed. Bags feel very substantial and safe to put anything inside of them - even liquids. I froze water to test them out and they worked great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great option for leftovers or on the go options! They are sturdy and hold a lot in them. My food in the freezer has been fresh after storage in these. I would suggest writing on the bags when you use, as the bag isn’t super clear to see what’s in them! Love the press and seal.. makes things so much easier! Overall, would recommend if you freeze leftovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have a lot different feel to them then the typical plastic bags. They are so and flexible which seem to make it a little easier to wrap tight and get the air out. I love that they are all natural and not harmful to the environment.
