The color was great but it burned my lips badly and also tasted like chili powder, which I do not like. I did not like this at all. Woukd never buy again or recommend.

Blisters!
I have tried other lip plumpers and never had a reaction as I did with the lifter plump. I developed blisters on my lips and just under my lower lip. My lips look terrible! I also swallowed my saliva and my throat tingled for more than 10 minutes and water didn’t help! I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I do not have sensitive skin so I’m shocked this happened to me.

WARNING!!
I have no clue how this company has not been sued for this product!!. I have never had a sore in my life and this product burned and made me break out so bad that I almost booked a care now appointment. How this passed testing I can’t even fathom. PLEASE look at all the other one star reviews and DO NOT BUY THIS.

This is legit the best lip plumper ever! It is not for those who can't tolerate a burning see cartoon on their lips. It isn't like other lip plumpers that have a slight tingle, This lip plumper slightly burns for about five minutes. The burn is not painful unless you are sensitive. No other plumping gloss has given me the results this one does! It is AMAZING! Give it a try.

Nice Plumping Gloss - Actually Works!
This gloss works just as good as another brand that costs 3x as much. I wish it came in more colors. I’ve purchased 3 colors and I love them all. The only reason I gave 4 stars, rather than 5, is because one of the glosses didn’t seem to have as much of the chili pepper in it. It didn’t make my lips plump as much as the other 2 I bought. I think that may just be a quality control issue wherever they’re manufactured?

Im convinced that the people who left the reviews have never tried the regular lift plump available. I tried it out of curiosity but truly curiosity has killed the cat. This chili pepper gloss makes me feel like i just ate a 10 piece buffalo wing. I hate it. Dislike it. Glad you have ppl who like it. Imma hold your hand when i say this. Dont make this no more

I love Maybelline products
I absolutely have never been much of a fan of lip glosses, but I absolutely love these plumping glosses! Obviously yes, they're chili and they're going to "burn" but honestly I love how it feels and how it makes my lips look. I've purchased both 'Hot Chili' and 'Cocoa Zing' definitely reccomend!
