Q: After opening how long can I use these for? If I store them in the freezer between uses can that extend there life?

A: Hi Alysha--- Thank you for your question! After opening, the pads can be used for up to 24 hours. Unopened gel pads can be placed in the fridge shortly before use. However, we have not tested for freezer storage and therefore would not recommend placing the pads in the freezer.

Q: So I had a cut on my nips (not a mother) but they have been cracked and sore and I want to be able to have them heal so I can feel confident going braless would this help

Q: There's 2 clear plastics on each side of the hydrogel. Are you supposed to peel off both? And which side should be placed on your nipple (there's a side with a texture and another side that's smooth)?

A: There should only be one side with a hard removable plastic. The other side will be textured, but should not have a removable plastic on it. This saved me! I am a first time mom and my sister-in-law recommended these. I used these daily for about a week after my baby was born and then intermittently for another 3-4 weeks. My nipples never cracked! I would put them back in the original package after cleaning them and then store them in the fridge. One pair would last me about 4 days. I received another common brand of a similar product from the lactation consultant at my hospital and I found the soothing effect to wear off very quick. The Medela version held up longer and stayed in place! I also tried another similar product that was less expensive but they did not even compare to the Medela ones. These will definitely be a hospital bag must have for any future pregnancies!

These got me through the worst initial period of breastfeeding. My babies always “lipstick” ed me. They’d basically slide while eating losing their proper latch causing severe blisters. If it wasn’t for the relief these pads provided I don’t think I would have made it. I’ve now used these with my last 3 babies and I recommend them to everyone and buy them as gifts for new moms! They do loose their stickiness after a few uses but the relief is well worth it

Worked Wonders For My Sore Cracked Nipples In The First Weeks Of Vreast Feeding. They Are Reusable But Yiu Should Wash Them Between Feeding So That Thru Dont Start To Smell.

Compared to other brands, I just wasn’t impressed. These require that you wash them and yourself before/after use, they don’t last long, and I didn’t notice any further healing or protection. I wouldn’t buy them again.

These saved my nipples after birth. My newborn latching incorrectly at first was literally causing bleeding and soars. These soothed and helped heal me and get through that learning phase. Would not want to ever go through that pain without these again!

The cooling effect of these is wonderful for sore, raw nipples. I put some in the fridge too and cut them in half to make more use out of them. I wish more came in the box.

These are great! My post-partum nurse in the hospital recommended these when I was having nipple bleeding/cracking. After using these for about 12 hours my nipples looked almost completely healed. I've used nipple cream in the past but the constant moisture left me with a thrush infection plus ruined my bra, these pads don't do that. although the price point is higher and you only get 24hrs of use these are totally worth it, I will never go back to nipple cream again.

After one day back to work - pumping about three times- I realized I NEED MORE Tender care hydrogel pads! So I bought like 20? They can be reused but I had to buy them for my friends! It’s my little reward when I’m done pumping!
