Q: So I had a cut on my nips (not a mother) but they have been cracked and sore and I want to be able to have them heal so I can feel confident going braless would this help

A: Our Tender Care HydroGel Pads are designed to help cool and provide relief from sore nipples. It has not been tested for the specific purpose of healing.

Q: There's 2 clear plastics on each side of the hydrogel. Are you supposed to peel off both? And which side should be placed on your nipple (there's a side with a texture and another side that's smooth)?

A: There should only be one side with a hard removable plastic. The other side will be textured, but should not have a removable plastic on it. Q: Even after doing all the correct steps using these pads my nipples felt like they were on fire? Is that ok? I stopped using thinking I'd maybe get an infection or clogged duct?

These got me through the worst initial period of breastfeeding. My babies always “lipstick” ed me. They’d basically slide while eating losing their proper latch causing severe blisters. If it wasn’t for the relief these pads provided I don’t think I would have made it. I’ve now used these with my last 3 babies and I recommend them to everyone and buy them as gifts for new moms! They do loose their stickiness after a few uses but the relief is well worth it

Worked Wonders For My Sore Cracked Nipples In The First Weeks Of Vreast Feeding. They Are Reusable But Yiu Should Wash Them Between Feeding So That Thru Dont Start To Smell.

Compared to other brands, I just wasn’t impressed. These require that you wash them and yourself before/after use, they don’t last long, and I didn’t notice any further healing or protection. I wouldn’t buy them again.

These are great! My post-partum nurse in the hospital recommended these when I was having nipple bleeding/cracking. After using these for about 12 hours my nipples looked almost completely healed. I've used nipple cream in the past but the constant moisture left me with a thrush infection plus ruined my bra, these pads don't do that. although the price point is higher and you only get 24hrs of use these are totally worth it, I will never go back to nipple cream again.

After one day back to work - pumping about three times- I realized I NEED MORE Tender care hydrogel pads! So I bought like 20? They can be reused but I had to buy them for my friends! It’s my little reward when I’m done pumping!

If you have sore, red, or cracked nipples, are new or old to breastfeeding, these are a LIFESAVE!! They are cool to the touch, and keep sore and chaffed nipples from rubbing on anything. They give instant relief. I take one pad and cut it into 4 pieces (because you only need to cover the nipple itself) and they last longer. Run it under cool water for a second to make it even better. Best recommendation from my lactation consultant!! Now I don't go without. I always have in stock at home, just in case!

I was hoping these would be somewhat comparable to the Ameda hydrogel pads and was excited that these were more affordable… do NOT waste your money on these. It’s worth spending the extra $10 or whatever to get the Ameda ones. These did nothing for my already sore nipples except make them hurt more. Extremely inconvenient to try and use… they maybe had a cooling effect for about a minute… but the whole time I had to try and hold the patch on because it wouldn’t stay by itself. Just an overall poorly designed product.
